I don't typically collect "Microman" stuff, but I have seen a few of these on YahooJapan lately. Are they as much fun to play with as they look? Do the little guys combine to form a big robot?

Havn't seen this one yet, but I'll have a look. I can guess one thing is for sure though, that it will be fun, and if not fully transformable, at very least combinable.
One cool thing about most Takara stuff, is the universal 5mm hole and peg system that makes some crossover/compatability available with Microman, Transformers, Micronauts, and even quite a few Diaclone toys.

The 7 2 1 set is a GREAT set. I found it quite unique and there is a good deal of diecast.
They have been a steal on YahooJapan.....

I really do. It is a large box set about the size of GodMarz. To me it is innovative and very very very underrated. For instance for $200 you could get it or a Popy ST sized toy.......
It transforms into quite a few parts and vehicles and then has the strange feature of adding a micronaut man to the set.
Get it, you won't be sorry for that price. I figured it was worth about $350 or the price of GodMarz. (but the prices won't quite be the same since Microman toys haven't caught on yet.)
