Hi all. I have revently acquired a godaikin bio man. It is in really good shape and actually does not look like it has had much use. It does have some yellowing of some of the white, but not horrible, is to be expected of these old toys I guess, but my question is about the paint. Was there any issues with these robots? Mine seems to have paint cracks, where like the paint hardened and has like spider cracks in it. Am I alone or is this a common thing? This is the first time I have actually owned one and seen up close.

Mine doesn't have any. May be due to age or being poorly stored. Could have been very cold, or more likely heat/humidity cracked the paint which would explain the yellowing as well (if it's paint yellowed and not the plastic).
He is one of my favorites. You should have two jets, two fists/engines, six yellow missiles and plastic holder, sword, shield, color instruction booklet and one tiny red pilot figure. The cockpit of biojet 1 opens (do it slowly) for the pilot. The biojet 2 cockpit does not open!

Bio man is 100% complete. Beautiful box and insert. Everything in great shape, just those pesky paint cracks on the chest are the only downfall in this piece. Still looks good unless you examine it closely. Wonder how much that decreases the value? I may pick up bio dragon to go with it.

Get the bio dragon. I bought an unused bio dragon first because I was having trouble finding a bioman that was in mint condition. Bio dragon is one of the cheapest carrier toys you can buy and its aircraft carrier mode is amazing especially with both biojets on the flight deck. You will love it.

Welcome to the Bioman addiction Yes, I found that the white had a large amount of Bromine in it…..so many of them yellowed. I believe heat and O2 will accelerate the issue. But, IMHO, most all of these guys will eventually yellow as time goes on. Blue becomes brittle, white becomes a bit yellow. A select few of us may have cool enough storage spaces and an ideal climate. Then a few of us may get a better batch of plastic than others. Anyways, embrace the slight yellowing and enjoy the toy Best Regards, Ed
