It does look nice. Unfortunately, I already have the SRC version, which is pretty cool itself. }D

The SRC is good enough for me.

Looks beautiful, but pricey. And I wish it don't use magnetic ball joints.

nice sculpt. very imposing and eye-catching figure. definitely, better looking than the SRC version. but SRC is more likely gonna be almost 2x cheaper when this comes out... and ofcourse diecast. if ill buy another one from Evo, ill just go for Laserion instead.

Do we have any idea how big it will be? If it's substantially larger than the SRC I might consider one (at least until BanDai starts reading my crazed handwritten manifestos and makes a SOC version.)

Personally im not really fond of the idea of making an already released SRC version into another SOC figure. Its just a waste of effort, time and resources. what bandai should do is to focus with mechs thats NEVER been released. SRC is best for non-combiners, non-transforming mechs such as mazingers, getters, dai-guard, tetsujin, dendoh, etc etc.. Leave SOCs to more complicated ones that needs superior toy engineering like combiners and transformers.

Not really ala Voltes V/ Voltron.. kinda semi or in-between. More like Jeeg or Gaiking.

Still a combiner. Not like Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Grendizer, Mazinkaiser, Mazinkaizer SKL, Tetsujin 28,etc... }D

Not really ala Voltes V/ Voltron.. kinda semi or in-between. More like Jeeg or Gaiking. Actually by the tail end of the series he had been upgraded to be a true combiner. Going from 3 flying "Dai-Fighter" transport modules to the assembled Dai-Guard Robot. Although I think it was only used in one story arc. It was very much a nod to classic combiners like Voltes V, Combatler V, etc. although i I would love for someone to do a set of the "Train". The full convoy of trucks that carry the three pieces and weapons, erect the gantry and assemble the robot.

Although I posted 3 months ago that the SRC version fitted my needs, after rewatching the anime I pre-ordered this and Kokubogar.
And I have the intro music stuck in my head!

hehehe if looking for some catchy music... super robot animes will be one on top the list hehehe.. back in the day..watching the same opening and ending theme of robot cartoons that aired everyday.. no wonder its gets stucked, sometimes u unconsciously sing the theme some catchy tunes i can remember were mekanda, voltes, daimos, and some toku sentai stuff..
