Garage kit, I dont know where to put this so Ill just put it here and classify it as a Fan Art. Do anyone collect these? Is there any value on this items? I know its a recast of the original sculpt (bootleg to others) but at one point its also a custom figure with a nice touch of paint job right? Thou its a static figure but then again I personally dont have the time to pose my figure in my preferred poses. So are Garage kit worth collecting if theyre already been built & painted? Do the price appreciate given in an amount of time?  |

I have one garage kit copy. A gold lightan kit.
I don't know how rare the original kit was but this was a character I liked, and the sculpt for this static kit was better than a the sculpt of a lot of vinyls and toys of the character, which for lightan is unique.
I think it is worth collecting garage kits or copies if it's a character you like, but only if it's a good looking kit.
A lot of these are resin or vinyl and require patience or a good knowledge of modeling to work on. But they are satisfying when well done.
