these guys look really impressive. the price is pretty reasonable at about $200 total from BBTS. it fit nicely between Hot Toys Diecast and SHF. any bro getting this? im on the fence since this is a brand new line but i want to support any iron man with good diecast in them. come on, i knew from very start, any reputable company who are building iron man toys needed diecast.... Bandai and Sentinel, especially Bandai is making a mistake by still having so little diecast in their shf iron men. see the shf HulkBuster? it needs more diecast along with joint engineering that can support the added weight of metal.

I am I was convinced after watching the Budget Stark youtube vids on this line. I'm afraid of venturing into HotToys territory as I know that would open up a whole new can of worms for me, budget aside each of the figures are 12" and up in size... I don't have enough room to display my current collection already can't really figure out how to display those baddies.... The King Arts scale would fit better within my collection in my mind and the price to entry is more manageable I think. Plus, they are all going to be 40% diecast i read, in armor and joint system. so that's a lot of diecast in my mind for the buck. I like the idea that an iron man figure for their line mark 43 can fit inside the hulk buster that they're also releasing.

Probably not. I already started with Hot toys and I really don't want to collect another line when they're already awesome.

thank you very much for posting this. made my day
but i kinda wish Budget Stark didnt compare it to Hot Toys version... Due to the size, The Hot Toys looks most def superior as far as sculpt and paint app. i can tell rigjt away which was which.

Yeah the first video was interesting as I haven't seen a cantonese video review of a toy in a while...but awesome to watch. I think the two serve different purposes. While Hot Toys are superior in some aspects they are also huge figures 12" tall and depending on the type of collection someone is building it may not fit in well with the overall collection look and feel when displayed with other figures particularly if space is also an issue, then the slightly smaller scale would do better as well. Regardless, I think both companies are doing great renditions of the iron man armor line. I have been waiting for a diecast iron man to pop up that wouldn't break the bank if I were to invest in starting a line of iron man armor sets in my collection. Though I am mighty tempted to get at least one Hot Toys figure from their diecast line of course to see for myself.

Due to the size, The Hot Toys looks most def superior as far as sculpt and paint app. i can tell rigjt away which was which. Always glad to help a fellow collector! I'm also very curious about this line - I've always wanted an Iron Man figure in my collection, but always felt that the Hot Toys version are too large in scale. I'm really looking forward for the 1/9 Hulkbuster, as it is the only one among the current offering, both hi-end and lo-end that can properly store a full MK-43 unit inside it. HLJ has it for preorders, but the pricing is way through the roof, so I'll probably wait for a local seller or import from HK shops. hlj.com/product/kga50768EDIT: Since an official thread for the Kingarts 1/9 diecast line is now available, I'm re-posting the Hulkbuster's promotion pics here: Specs according to King Arts: King Arts * 1/9 Diecast Figure Series * DFS012 * Diecast Action Hulkbuster Preorder Now!!! by far, this hulkbuster is the clear winner. amazing sculpt, awesome paint app, comparable articulation, the only one with ton of diecast, the only one with iron man in iron man gimmick.
This is the one i want amongst SHF, Hot Toys, and King Arts. i want them to do Igor too. And the Rhino from Spider Man movie...i figure if they are willing to make super obscure HammerHead suit then why not? If i were Hot Toys id steal or buy off 1/9 Diecast ironman line before King Arts get too good lol.
But seriously Niko, if you re not a completionist, then I highly highly recommemd considering Hot Toys Diecast IronMan. just to have one. Its an amazing figure..... i have the Iron Patriot and the thing is incredible, def not as articulate as King Toys Iron Man, but the fit and finish on Hot Toys beats the hell out of Anything i own. That includes my Honda lol. Its now $30 cheaper then i bought it for at BBTS and still worth every penny.

Good point there about having just one diecast Iron Man. The Hot Toys Iron Man figures seem to be really good and have been garnering nothing but praises from the collecting community. I don't know, but I can't seem to bring myself to push the buy now button every time one is announced for release and pre-order. There are always one other robot figure that I want to buy and prioritize.
I was seriously thinking about getting Hot Toys' 1/6 Hulkbuster, but then I realize that it will not have any diecast content, and thinking about that, the pricing become unpalatable to me. However, Kingarts 1/9 is at a perfect size, albeit smaller than the HT one, but it does come with diecast parts and designed to house a 1/9 Iron Man suit. That wins the Hulbuster battle for me :-)

I will go and preorder this king arts hulkbuster. The size and die cast content are more tempting than the hot toys. Another thing that kept me away from hot toys iron man line is color fading underwear. It happens to my brother's iron man mark 42 die cast. Angolz have the hulkbuster preorder at $520

Wow, i was so close to picking one up from hot toys just to see...now i'm not so sure anymore. I am definitely liking the scale better from king arts from a display perspective as I don't have a ton of real estate to display things these days, and what's an iron man figure without metal right

Wow! This looks to offer more than the hot toys version even though it's smaller. But damn that price at HLJ! In this case the Hot Toys version is the cheaper alternative.

I've accepted that Hot Toys is expensive and is one of the reasons I don't really collect them anymore, but is this a joke? I thought the Hot Toys workshop was a rip off at over 100 dollars for a table and helmet, but this things what, 2/3 the the size? Other than the battery, at least the HT Mk42 actually includes a open face helmet and battle damaged armor. www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-012284&page=top

yeah, thats def bit much.
i dare to guess they figured Fewture battle damage parts for getter 1 sold well and since it is diecast parts set they can getaway with the asking price.... i rather get another one of their full figure for that price.
id wont get it. he doesn't even look like Robert downey junior and his face look way way too small for the body. very very odd looking.

I originally thought it came with a Mk-42. However, judging from how HLJ prices the KA Hulkbuster, the retail pricing in Hongkong may be much lower than what's being offered in Japanese stores, although I wouldn't know whether that would make the pricing fair or not... According to Kingarts' FB page, this kit is priced at HKD418 or about USD54. Is that more acceptable?
