I'll close my eyes and wait til it's all done. Dante's a unique battlebeast, in that we never see his legs and lower body... ...just his long gown, and that tornado weapon he uses. He just levitates around town up in the air. Are you gonna make that tornado weapon effect for him? Perhaps mount him on a wire stand, with some dense clear Saran plastic wrapped around a metal coat-hanger wire so Dante looks like he's levitating in mid-air while using his Tornado attack. Continue wrapping the Saran Wrap around the wire to make it obscure from plain view. Leave some of the wire exposed at the top to mount the Dante figure onto it. Meanwhile the Saran Wrap will be thick and dense, and the wrinkles will simulate the flow of the tornado turbulence during the attack. After the Saran is wrapped around the wire, slightly twist the Saran wrapping in either direction to create a "swirl" motion effect for the tornado. Are you wearing over-the-calf tube socks? If so, pretend your leg is the coat hanger wire, drop your tube sock below your calf to your lower shin... see how it wrinkles? Now twist the sock around your shin and you'll see the twisting motion in the wrinkles. That's how you would create a "tornado" effect for the Dante. ( And, that stage prop effect with the Saran wrap can be used for any diorama and any robot that uses wind-powered weapons, such as Stronger-T4. You can also use the Saran Wrap to make a Rust Hurricane effect for your Mazinger figures.) Then place some tiny vehicles, people, and buildings in mid-air around the tornado column to simulate a city under attack by Dante, like a diorama. Bundles of crumpled Saran Wrap can also be used to make simulated Water Cascade effects... .....Yep, to go with your Photon Lab model -- in Mazinger's waterpool! zozo-mag

The tornado effect idea sounds very interesting. I just need to visualize it better in my head before I try to make one. I bought some "performance" fabric yesterday at Joann's for Dante's gown. Gotta figure that one out as well, because I'm sure making a flowing dress for a 6 inch figure is gonna suck ass. In the meantime... }D[/quote]

I'll twist up some Saran Wrap and post a pic so you can see how it looks. If there's a paintable colored top Resin coat for covering foam and other objects, I'm sure there has to be a Clear brush-on resin to go over the Saran Wrap to make it rigid with a clear thick solid "shell" on the outside of the wrap. Dante's head and shoulders prototype in PLA... The final version will be in ABS, which is actually a stronger material, and can be smoothed with acetone. }D

Dante plastic body/gown. May make it with either a smaller head, or larger/longer gown. I need to compromise so it doesn't turn out too large or too small. Dante is a weird one, with a very small face and long body and arms... }D

That tornado attack stand looks cool! You nailed the idea of the tornado effect right on point. Would also be nice if you could make a semi-clear one large enough to pose Maz like he's "trapped" inside of it! zozo-mag

Is it just me? Or do the picture look like they were shot with a Game Boy Camera from the 90's for anyone else?

Is it just me? Or do the picture look like they were shot with a Game Boy Camera from the 90's for anyone else? It is just the special effect that TMZ opted to use on the picture. I like it because it gives me the "manga" look. Everything else is just you man. (Kidding).

That's TMZ's way of showing previews of his work-in-progress, before showing his finished production in real-live photos. zozo-mag
