I'm interested in picking up some Takatoku Valkyries.
Where is the best place to purchase these eBay?
What is a good price to get these at?
Looking at the Super Valkyrie and Max Valkyrie.

Nice! I am a big fan of Takatoku Valkyries! Actually, there is no best place to buy over eBay as these items pop up every now and then (you have to keep a constant eye on ebay). From my experience scouting for them in the past, these things can run anywhere from 200 to 1000+ a set, depends on condition and rarity of course. For a rough guide, i suppose the Super Valk (with strike parts) is more expensive than Max, a mint one can set you back 5-600 or more while a mint Max would go for something like 400 if you are lucky. Prices for most Valks have already drop quite a fair bit (with the exception of holy grail pieces i,e, Super Ostrich, Elintseeker) since i collected them. So its a pretty good time going in now. This thread made me look at recent prices for the Bandai 1/55's and I was pleasantly surprised many of these have held their value pretty well over the years.
I may have to throw a bunch of these up on the "for sale" thread.

Thanks for the responses. I've been looking on eBay but only found one super valk in not so good condition. I noticed that the super valk does not have a skull canopy.

The super valk should come with the skull canopy. have to be a bit patient if you intend to bag a good set. every once in a while, collectors will sell their sets on ebay and that would be an excellent time to go in. in some cases, be prepared to pay more as they can mint and very well taken cared of sets, so it all depends on what condition you want to acquire them in.
actually there's one VF-1S (takatoku version and the seller is accepting offers) as well as a VF-1S (Bandai Hi-Metal) packaged with armored parts on sale at ebay right now, not exactly what you want, but worth taking a look.
