Not technically a Microman thing, but they seem quite similar to me. I was interested to see in this months Japanese hobby mags these medicom figures:

Look very similar to Microman, only 10cm tall, seem quite poseable and I like the weird insectoid character. One bit of unfortunate naming there however.
Doing a little bit of searching I was able to hunt down something of their origin. Apparently designed by the drummer from a Japanese band called Cocobat:

That's the limits of my research. They look kind of cool though and I wonder if anyone else knows any more?
