Interesting. I have the old plamo kit of the '2, but its pretty terrible. What's the consensus on Evolution Toy's stuff? Would this be able to stand up against Yamato/Arcadia and Bandai's stuff on my shelf?

So I've been doing some research and apparently this first showed up at a show back in April? And this appears to be the start of a new line for ET after their goofy magnet joints figs and the robot cockpit fighters. Gonna keep an eye on this, but my enthusiasm has diminished now that I've had time to digest.

I actually always liked this design. But their implementation is lacking in the leg area. You need to get the ankles and thighs rotating for that perfect A stance.

Agree. I stick to DX Chogokin line The hinges design on top (thruster) are ugly.

I like the battroid mode. Gerwalk looks ok but the fighter mode looks a little off to me.

Every form looks a little off, I really hope arcadia or bandai gets the license to this birdie so we can get an accurate rendition of this ...

This is still looking pretty underwhelming. I'd love to have a Valk-2, but what I've seen so far is kinda mediocre and the lack of a SAP is a dealbreaker, especially at that price. I've put in a PO, but if it doesn't look any better closer to when it hits the street, I'm gonna cancel. And that would be disappointing.

The execution is a bit weak for my taste, but for the hardcore fans, definitely a must have.

It doesn't look like anything's changed between this colored version and the protos we saw before. I am feeling severely underwhelmed. And the color only seems to highlight a feeling of "cheapness". For that pricetag, this thing should be much better. Gonna hang on to my PO for a while longer, but things are looking grim.

lotsa pics: ameblo.jp/digitamin/some info from the text: tampo printed reds sounds like the grey part is under consideration (matte or glossy?) extendable feet diecast frame diecast joints diecast landing gear comes with unpainted pilot cockpit not yet painted, but will be in actual product. also sounds like they are still working out how arms and legs will lock in fighter mode.
