Kids Logic started adding metal with the large Megatron so this may have metal too. As for the 2 Combattlers they may be different sized figures for different price points which they do regularly.

Oh? there was metal with the KL Megatron? I didn't know that, I passed on that figure. Something about the sculpt didn't seem right to me. Thanks Chen. Gold

Hmm good point Baron, Kids Logic does tend to release in 2 scales. It is quite possible they are entirely different toys. Gold yes actually gold you gave me the hint that they come into different scales then I I looked at it and kind of guessed that that's what the situation is here

Thanks for the link, greengetterguy. Looks like kids logic is coming on real strong. I kinda like the movie edition grimlock.
Btw, anyone have any idea what is the country origin on kids logic? Their items seems to be of good quality. I currently owned a movie edition optimus prime and my wife have a G1 soundwave, and i might say the finishing is excellent.

youre very welcome Mecha. yeah me too.
i love Grimlock! possibly the best rendition of the character i ever seen as an action figure! i THINK theyre based in HongKong maybe?
i havent bought anything from them yet but if they include token doecast like they did with MN Megatron, im already there. i want Grimlock, Daitarn, and that Devastator or whoever he is.
Devastator is also the best rendition ive seen.....SD or not!

I think they confused combattler with voltes V

Good catch. Combattler never got a V during combination mode. Just linear connections.
Also, the preorders for this thing don't mention metal as part of the build. Just PVC?

Is this really a combiner? The arm joints don't seem right, especially at the elbows. The connection for the foot too.

Looking at it now, I don't think it is. While there are areas that match up between the figure and the small vehicles, that figure looks almost 100% static. They even say it's a 9cm LED figure.

From the looks of this I think this the smaller 9cm tall version rather than the slightly larger combining version.

cdx put up its announcement for this toy. in the contents, it lists each part separately: combattler figure, ship 1, ship 2,etc...
probably not a combiner.

That larger one is definitely a combiner. Much different than the static, colored sample above.

Look like you need to throw away half of Battle Jet before combine it.
