So AmiAmi had a pre-order open for black Barattack. But here is the catch, it is designated Number 1 of a new toy line called "Dynamite Action! HYBRID." Nothing is known about this line, and there is nothing posted on Evolution Toy's website. But according to AmiAmi's product description, it seems to contain metal. Here is the link for the AmiAmi pre-order which is already closed: www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-012982&page=top

Call me a party pooper, but I doubt there'll be any diecast in that Barattack.
See, every description of every ET figure says the toy has "iron" in it. And yes, it does. It's the metal balls that attach to the magnets, those are the "iron" part. But no diecast.
Here, again, it says iron in the description. I want to be optimistic, but.. I don't know. We'll see.
Could just be that this is just an "option parts set" for Baratack, that's why they're calling it HYBRID #1 (maybe).

It could be an option parts set. But my question will be why make it black? There is no Dynamite Action Black Barattack that I am aware of.
I will just wait and see if Evolution Toy discloses more info.

I just wonder why the new designation as Hybrid and number 01. It even has its own section as Dynamite Action HYBRID. It is not listed along with the rest of the Dynamite Action ET figures.

I still believe that this is a new line. And Based on the AmiAmi preorder, which is open again, this is what I found when comparingit against the Dynamite Action! No.26 "Chojin Sentai Barattack" Barattack.
The hybrid version is 12cm tall; while the regular version is 12cm tall. The Hybrid version is made of ABS, Resin Cast, Iron, Magnet; while the regular version is made of Material: ABS, PVC, Iron, Magnet. The Hybrid version costs 17,280 JPY (AmiAmi's preorder price 14,090 JPY); while the regular version costs 15,120 JPY (AmiAmi's preorder price 11,640 JPY).
Hopefully, Evolution Toy will divulge any info about this new line.

The hybrid version is 12cm tall; while the regular version is 17cm tall. Fixed Anyway, the reason why this Barattack is black is.. because that's the color of this mode, hehe. The book says: Barattack + air combat parts -> blue Barattack + marine combat parts -> green Barattack + earth combat parts -> black (two modes of this exist, Chijo Sen type and Moguru type) In that amiami page, the two pics show respectively the Chijo Sen black Barattack (half tank, half humanoid) and the Moguru black Barattack (which kinda looks like a scorpion if you squint your eyes). With no legs, the figure will obviously be shorter. That explains the difference in heights.

Now I see what they're doing... ET is combining the Garage Kit process and the regular plastic parts. }D

Still, Evolution Toy could have release this and future versions of Barattack under its regular Dynamite Action! line. Thankfully, I do not like Barattack. And quite honestly, I find it fugly. So I am saving money by not buying this robot.

The ET website doesn't say anything about the extra Barattack parts yet, we don't know how many they'll include, if they'll be sold separately, for how much or if they'll be in a new line at all. We know nothing at the moment.
Better wait for more details.

so they mean die cast by iron (?) No.. pretty sure they just mean steel balls by iron. That's what I've seen all this time, when they said their figures had metal in them. Hehe, sure, metal. There's more iron in my bloodstream than in these toys well, not that I'm complaining. It's their way of doing things. I think TMZ got it right, they're.. mixing some elements of their GKs with other elements of their regular releases.. to make.. nothing exciting? I don't know. That's why I said we need more news, more details.
