I'm looking through an aircraft modelling book and came upon a scale reference table that helps me place the scale of the Dianuat figures. Since they measure (all 3 types) 30mm tall (1 & 3/16 inches), they fit the 1/64 scale, rather than the 1/72 scale that I see posted on the Diaclone catalogs (and some boxes). For simplicity, the table has everybody at six feet tall ... I wish...this makes the Dianauts big fellas, even at this scale: At 1/64 scale they stand 6'4" tall. At 1/72 scale, Dianauts would be closer to 7' tall, which could work too, depending on how you look at the transforming vehicles, which are hard to nail down in scale, but certainly bigger than 1/72. I'm including the foot magnets in this measurement, but the 'skinny' Dianauts magnets don't add to their height. Also, some 1/72 plastic soldiers & vehicles I dug up here, look too small beside the Dianauts (in both height & bulk). This completes my rant on the topic of scale, a peeve of mine; thanks for reading.

Unfortunately, Diaclone never had much regard for consistant scale. Just look at the car robots. Jeez oh man is Battle Convoy far too big for his drivers!
Even in the earlier toys, I don't think there's any way Cosmoroller is supposed to be that big when compared to The Great Robot Base.
