Hi everyone,
I have an opportunity to buy a large collection of Italian imported vintage Chogokin, including Daltanious, Gundam, Daitern, Trider, etc. I intend to keep some and sell others. Does anyone know how the value for them compares to the Japanese or American imports (for those that have an American variation like Godaikin)? They were all imported into Italy by Ceppi Ratti. From what I've seen of the collection so far, the only variation is the writing on the box (some is in Italian). Since these are all very early 80's or early, the missiles seem to be untouched. Is there any collector interest in these variations?
Thanks for the help.

Depending on what they are I may be interested in some.
Generally though, the box variants are less desired and also some of them are actually produced in Hong Kong (or other areas) instead of Japan.
Overall, this makes them worth less than their Japanese counterparts - sometimes considerably less. Depends on the toy itself.

One of them that I have pictures of, Gundam ST, is made in Macau (box art printed in Hong Kong). I came across a lot of these imported ones online, but they all seem to be made in Singapore. I'm wondering whether it's more valuable because it's made in Macau. Also, I noticed that the box art on the back is different than any other one I've seen. All of the others have a picture of the Gundam on its back with its arms to its side. This one looks similar, but the arms are extended perpendicular to its body. Not sure whether any of this means anything.

No, it doesn't. Japan stuff is the most desirable in general. Hong Kong/Macau/Singapore were all the manufacturing countries for the export versions. So all your stuff would be the lesser desirability in general. But that's not a bad thing though.
And as I said, Ceppi Ratti stuff is just worth less in general. Their box art is what we usually call "photo" boxes that show pictures of the toys, rather than the "art" boxes from Japan which have really great paintings and drawings instead (for the most part).
