Makes sense for NY. They're known to scalp DX Valks and I guess this time around they didn't manage to get enough stock

Though...FWIW, my PO at NY has yet to have an updated status given that it released back in late-March. I should've gotten something on it being shipped already. many are still waiting for their N-Y order too, I wish you the best of luck Yeah, I sent a question to NY's customer support inquiring about my order. They said they are waiting for their inventory as they received less than what was ordered. Anyways, they said will be sent as soon as possible. So, no cancellation at least. Yet. |

They said they are waiting for their inventory as they received less than what was ordered. Anyways, they said will be sent as soon as possible. So, no cancellation at least. Yet. That seems to be their general reply, they have a new one now that give you the option to cancel your order but they will try to give you the refund in the form of a voucher Its one time use (not sure on the expiration date) Can only be use for new orders Your items cost total must be greater than the voucher before shipping. (one MW member found a way around that - by adding more items , add the voucher , then remove the extra items.) There's also the paypal dispute period of 180 days, or your credit card . I wasn't able to get my preorder from N-Y because I thought I already placed one with either them or BigInJapan. (nope ,did not place the preorder with either  ) had to scrabmel to get on in at Nin-nin-games which they failed me this time.  So all this N-Y stuff is just me hearing it as a outsider. Luckily I was still able to get one for a ok marked up, thanks to a fellow member that was able to run down to a physical store to get it for me. (the mark up was from the store of course) With that said. I've also been pretty active hunting the VF-31a , so I ended up buying all kinds of other things, (figmas, snes, metal composite O gundam, vf-25 renewal valks, cdjapan outlet sale stuff)  not even sure i'm i'm winning or failing at this point. Mandarake listed like 3 or 4 , but they were sold out in minutes. from 33000 yen to 35000 yen Yahoo auctions have some but their auctions ends around 45000 and above, the do have buy it nows but the price is normally high. Rakuten has a couple for buy it now around the 44800 ,45800 and above |

So, I'll see where things are at towards the end of April and then proceed from there. At worst, I can use that voucher for a future purchase since I buy enough regularly from NY that it'll be useful. |

I was reading the RJ forum on and off to see if anyone here is also affected by the mysterious shortage of the 31A and true enough, a discussion has sparked off here as well.
Thanks for sharing the video I made on the discussion of the possible reasons for the 31A “shortage”.
Till now no one knows for sure what is going on and whether we will be getting our POs fulfilled by NY. The little good news is someome on the Macross world forums had his PO shipped out yesterday. So there’s still hope.
Let’s see how this turns out eventually. Fingers crossed.

I had a PO for the 31A at bandaionline.com but when it came time to ship, they informed me many of their units arrived damaged. Not sure if that was true or not, but they refunded me. Now the 31As I'm finding online are going for close to $700USD. In the end though, I already have a the 31F with super parts so I'm not too broken up about not getting the A. |

In my opinion they lied. They saw the high prices and decided to sell through secondary channels.
You could have told them it’s fine and you will accept the damaged boxes but I’m sure they would have still refunded you

Well i wasnt as lucky, after the situation broke out i had to scramble and refreshing sites non stops,just to get my 3.. 1 from a fellow member, 1 from Mandarake, 1 from yahoo auction as backup. Was able to get it before the next level price jump. $350 35000 yen 33000 yen. |
