Got one at CDJapan since I got cart jacked at Amiami. Only thing is I forgot to change payment type to credit card instead of paypal so I don’t need to pay upfront. Oh well, at least I have one less payment to worry about come release date.

How hard was the P.O. just curious, was it your typical Macross street fight or as crazy as VF-1J DX?

I managed to get 1 at CDJ and another at Ami. I thought Chuck is not so popular but I guess everyone has been Macross starved so the PO ended up as being real crazy.
Even NY’s 24k is sold out now.

I think the initial stock for VF-1J was higher because it is expected to be much more popular, so it was easier to get than Chuck's 31E. I managed to squeeze one in at AmiAmi right before it sold out.

I got one of the KO Hikaru VF-1S from Valkyrie Factory to compare with Arcadia's. I wanted to know for myself what the differences are so I won't buy a KO in a swapped Arcadia box without knowing it. It's well made but it's not as good as Arcadia. The panel seams where the landing gears are stored on the lower legs are much more obvious on the KO and not as attractive. The pilot's arms are raised higher, so it looks like the pilot is cheering inside the cockpit. The nub marks are not as clean as Arcadia, you can see a few areas where the parts were cut from the frames. The tampos are well done though, and is replicated from the Premium Version. Overall it is decent for the price. It weighs 100% same as Arcadia's, so at least the plastic density seems to be the same. Unless you have 2 side by side to compare, most people won't ever know it is a KO.
With that said, the VF-1 has fewer parts count and less complicated than the VF-31 so the quality may be harder to replicate.
