Unlike the macross frontier valkyries, especially the VF-25 and YF-29, i am not feeling anything for the macross delta valks at the moment. Although time and catching the anime might change my mind later on. personally, i find the designers are moving a step or two backwards with the SV-262 "delta" design.

It's certainly pretty. Looking at the hinges at the base of the wings it looks like it's going to have the same wing backpack as all the frontier valks, though, which is a shame. I'm getting pretty tired of the frontier 'pack.
Still, we'll see how it all looks when it's transformed properly. Hopefully it's not some "spoiler" thing they're going to keep a lid on until the show airs.

Our first Valkyrie toy with boobs, and somehow it WASN'T the VF-11 MAXL.  I'm not a huge fan of the very toy-looking chunky hinge that the gun swings out on in battroid mode, but I do like the fact that this seems to be a distinctly different transformation pattern. I feel like it's been ages since we got something in Macross that deviated from the "legs swing down from the sides, arms between them, nosecone origamis into the crotch" transformation scheme that started with the SV-51 |

I'm still trying to figure out that head...what exactly is it...? Sure is different than the typical Valk Battroid design.

The lines on these are beautiful..... I'd love to see a design by Syd Meade though in the next Maccross.
