Hey all! Hope you're having a good long weekend with family and friends! Announcing that starting today, thru next Friday Dec 4th, there is a nice variety 330 LOT auction live thru www.SeriousToyz.com Much appreciation to members of R-J, ToyboxDx, and TokuNation.com for help consulting on this catalog, to get some awesome descriptions up for this! It's not a huge auction, but lots of Super Robots, Machine Robo, Super Sentai (Power Rangers), Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes and Space Sheriffs, Ultraman, Godzilla, and lots of wacky characters from crazy shows. There are some real rarities in here, especially in MIB condition. Most of the items are 70s to early 90s vintage. Take a look and all info to register, and rules/terms is in the links right on the main page. Thanks for looking, and find something cool! serioustoyz.com/default.aspxCataloghttp://serioustoyz.com/catalog.aspx: (I'll be reposting this in other forum specific areas since "For Sale" is not seen by all.)

Nice article just out in Antique Toy World Magazine briefly gets into some of the collectors who bought these toys in Japan originally in the 70s - 90s, and how we got involved in helping catalog this great stuff. I'm glad I got to meet all but one of the consignors myself, and hear their stories, as two of them lived in Japan and collected as adults, and one is a toy desinger, involved in the toy biz with JC Penny , and Empire Toys before most of us were even born! Some cool toy industry stories I heard from back in the day. serioustoyz.com/useruploads/AUCTION57ART/ATW1115JapanToysPrev.jpgserioustoyz.com/useruploads/AUCTION57ART/ATW1115JapanToysPrev.jpg

Also: Note that all categories have 2 to 4 pages of toy lots, with only 25 visible on each page, so don't make the mistake some have already, of just skimming the fist page of the category, and missing all thats on the 2nd thru 4th pages.
NOTE #2: Like most auction houses, there IS a lay away plan split payment provision, if that helps, read the Rules page over.
NOTE #3: I do not own any part of SeriousToyz, just got drafted to help my friends that own the shop, but I can help answer questions on items directly, if needed. Ask here, or PM me, and I'll do my best.
NOTE #4: It seems there is a glitch with Hotmail email accounts, not getting their bidder # ID info. They're working on it. If you use Hotmail email, and are not getting a response, call direct, or hit me up and I'll forward info over. All registrations go right thru immediately, as soon as you fill in the form, you can bid, right away, it's automated & quick.

Last day reminder! Toys auctions end tonight, Friday Dec 4th, 10 PM EST. Many toys in Super Robots, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and CRazy Comical robot characters are still sitting at below market prices. Get in there and check thru the catalog, many toys can be had lower than you'd ever get if they were on ebay, and many have not been on ebay in MIB in a long time! serioustoyz.com/catalog.aspx Also, how do you like the banner, with the awesome masks, at the top of the boards? Love how the art came out on that, LOL! Read more: robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/23903/japanese-toy-auction-serioustoyz-com?page=1#ixzz3tMNeZM2K

Well that was fun! A real mix ending, with a lot of good high prices on some expected, and unexpected items, along w some crazy cheap deals, and some diecast I'm stunned was passed over.
To any winners, I know SeriousToyz is working hard this week to get everybody their shipping quotes & final invoices, so be patient, all will be wrapped up good n safe!
I'm sure I'll hear comments, when people get their stuff, but please give any feedback on the descriptions, photos, process, etc if you're hete on R-J.
Big thanks to Myles (KingboyD) and Josh & Jordan from Tokunation for helping with cataloging! Could not have been a catalog without these guys! Thanks a bunch to Ed (Admin1) and JoshB for putting up banners these last few days to help awareness.

Thanks, Jon, for all the work you put into this auction. It looked like a great success. I am glad I was able to snag the one piece I wanted. I will share photos when it arrives.

Cool that you got something Yumcha! Invoicing seems to be moving along pretty good at their shop. Tom's packing and emailing like crazy. Everybody should be gotten to in a few days.
The Machine Robo selection was nice, since even though it wasn't the first run Popy boxes, a lot of the good models were in there, and they're all MIB old store stock, that was bought by adults, in Japan, in little shops, when they were new, then just stashed away! Most of the auction stuff was similar condition/ story.
I should shout the praises of those newer, 1992 Change N Glow, Machine Robos! Many collectors overlook those, (including me) which is a mistake! They're as charming as the originals, just as good design, with light & sound, a little bigger, with diecast still. Wish I had bought those in the 90s when first out.
