im in china/h.k. on business and im looking for jumbos. i know of all the store in H.K. and have visited them all. im looking for new stores that have opened recently and possibly even people that want to sell off some of their personal collection. the stores here are getting pretty pricy so if i can score some jumbos from private seller hopefully there could be some savings. i appreciate any help from you all, i have reached out to kitsir but havent heard back.I will be in mainland China for most of the trip, but will be in H.K. the weekend of the 11th-13th.

in HK and went to Ins point today. I was blown away at the sheer amount of jumbos that were here and for sale. I saw an impressive assortment of boxed and lose jumbos. It was truly amazing and sad at the same time, because the prices are truly nuts!!! I can see where a boxed Lepoldan (around 35000.00 hkd or around 5000.00 us)would be expensive but some of the prices were truly stagery even for lose ones. so that being said if you are ever in HK and lloking to buy be forewarned and bring alot of cash if you are in the market for jumbos because they are not cheap. i guess all hopes of a good deal are beginning to get slimmer.

I finally purchased something while in H.K. and Giant Gorg jumbo in box. the price was very fair and there was a bit of negotiation involved. But i did walk away seeing probably the most Jumbos for sale in one place at one time in my collector life. it was truly awesome and once again sad becuase these babies arent getting any cheaper.

I feel like I got into this game about ten years too late! By the time I could even get overseas the prices are going to be even higher than they are now. I'm glad to hear that you didn't walk away empty handed though, even cooler that you got to buy a jumbo in person. I always have to get mine online.

yeah I was really fortunate when early on here in H.K. I was able to buy a raydeen bowfist and arua battler dunbine for super cheap. they both needed some work, but that was along time ago when a deal could still be had. I would say be patient, as another jumbo collector told me. this is a marathhon not a sprint.

I think all in all I'm fairly satisfied with what I have. I completed all the Mattel jumbos and am waiting for the conversion kits for both Daimos and Goldorak. If I ever start making more money I might try and pick up a couple more but for now I'm fine where I'm at.
