Suggesting Bandai might have potentially taken cues from KOB is one thing, but saying Bandai had directly or indirectly gotten involved in KOB's production is a whole new level of pulling something out of ones behind. Nice one. It's pretty obvious that there are those here who believe Bandai had somehow needed to take cues from KOB when designing the SOC Voltron, and that no amount of discussion will lead them to deviate from their paths. Bandai's invention of pretty much all things chogokin since the 70s apparently isn't enough that they desperately needed help from a no name company. Let's just stop here and agree that we desperately disagree. I quite agree. but its not really that bad.. if well.. to copy.. if its for improvement's sake... for the collectors.. our sake. Like whats happening to those 3rd party companies who are making awesome molds for Transformers. Takara copy some of the best features then release thier own better if not.. much superior version afterwards. Just like a clever assasin waiting.. then attack when the dust clears hehe.. It just doesnt make sense releasing an inferior product when youre the last company doing it hehe.. If some of you here are Transformer Masterpiece collectors too.. ull know what im sayin.

I for one personally am looking forward to the SoC Voltron as it has that old Godaikin/Chogokin feel of the Popy toy with newer engineering and better proportions to help more match the anime whilst balancing it all for every mode and not just Voltron. The addition of the individual Lion Weapons are also nice and add that with apparently the accidental reveal of the Go-Lion Attack is possible for the new SoC whilst the Madtoys King of Beasts is stuck with only the usual rocket punch. I would also add that personally, the KOB Voltron head looks a but too big with the Black Lion head that turns into a cowl of sorts makes it look so out of proportion with how big Black Lion's head is. Add that with some QC issues of the older batch and seeing them with Chachipower's review. Ouch. u didnt include the unsightly ab.. too long and overly designed lines. and popeye arms.. ooops sorry about that hehe..

I'm curious with madtoys licensed. If the price point will change. There are stuff I like esthetically with both. One is show accurate and the other is a stlyistic version. I do prefer the madtoys vs the new toynami ver
