Color accuracy is surprisingly good on Zambot. I painted the grey parts silver and I am planning to repaint the red and blue parts with gloss plaint, because the plastic color looks dull to me. It's a fun kit and good size (185mm).

Yeah it's weird to see a matte finish on a super robot since we're so used to seeing them glossy. I'm content with it as-is though - mostly because my attempts to paint things never go well, haha. Some pics    |

Looks pretty good for a minipla! So there are enough parts to show both the Zambot 3 and the little Ace separately at the same time?

Yes, there is a whole seperate kit for Zamboace and a kit for his vehicle mode that is used to combine with the others. Pretty thoughtful on Bandai’s part. Unfortunately Zamboace isn’t as articulated as the big guy and has very limited hip joints. He can be transformed, too, though it doesn’t look as good as the vehicle mode kit.
