Can you detail how you file a claims with Ebay/Paypal? I haven't bought much that hasn't come before. I bought from this seller too.. Open the page/record for your purchase in your eBay account. You can find an option about how this item did NOT arrive...and go from there.

Then you have to try to contact them, and wait a few days. After that the refund is usually processed.

So, my order got cancelled last week because apparently there was a crackdown by Bandai to the factories in China. For those that already got them, consider yourself extremely fortunate!

Will the cancellation due to legality make this figure a darling in the aftermarket?

Will the cancellation due to legality make this figure a darling in the aftermarket? I was thinking the same thing. That was my entire reason for considering another one. It is really nice.

Once they stop making them and when supply runs out, demand will increase and so will the price. Even if bandai were to make an official Metal Build of the Strike, this one will still have a market because it's 1/72 scale and can be use as a night light next to your bed, j/k

Unlike Bandai who would stop production and move on to something else, this company (if still around) likely does not follow that thinking. So I am pretty sure they would make 3rd or even 4th wave, if the toy is selling well. Of course, now they wouldn't because of the suspension.

Local seller. He said that the third batch have been cancelled, and I assume that would be for future batches as well (EDIT: unless MOShow is just planning to lay low for now until things cool down). The sellers in ebay may already got their stock from previous batches. The reason I went for the later batch was because I did not pull the trigger quick enough to PO from the earlier ones.

Tomorrow is the 1st day I can escalate the issue to eBay directly...waiting has been the theme with this toy. I doubt I'll get it after this "fun" experience.

This really is an awesome metal build , I hope this experience is not big enough to stop you from ever getting it in the future. Ebay will be on your side once they look that the sellers recent feedback and the forever tracking number.

Got my $$ back from eBay. Issue is now closed.
Talk about a sorry purchase. I've been buying stuff since 1999 online...and this was probably the first one that went south.

Thanks, jay...I'll consider it but for now, I'm leaning towards no. Got a pile of 3rd-party TFs to get and with all the Bandai reveals lately, I'm going to be @$$broke anyways trying to keep up. The Metal Builds and GFF Metal figures are good enough to satisfy my gokin-fix for Gundam.
