I still have the D-Arts Megaman It's not perfect but I love it. I'm liking this one more. and I really hope they make the classic Robot Masters.
I can see Cutman in one of the promotion pictures (:

They also had an unpainted Battle Network prototype! One of my favourite Megaman series, so I'm very excited for those.

Preordered Megaman and Megaman Exe at amiami at 3700 yen each. I did buy the D-Arts Megaman once, but gave it away as a present. Don't quite remember if they reissued it and I missed out on it. The D-Arts did come with Rush but this one at 4 inches should fit in nicely with the other D-Arts figures and the rest of my Megaman Collection. Plus, it looks like this one should have better articulation and probably don't that the problem of parts falling off like the D-Arts version and the Kotobukiya model kit.

Strange. I could have sworn there was another thread for that line with pictures of the Getter pilots, but I can't find it. I'll just post some here, then. On their Facebook page, Sentinel just posted some more pics of Ryoma (releasing this month), Hayato and what are hopefully just stand-ins for Benkei and Mushashi. I wouldn't be mad if Sentinel decided to make the two Getter 3 pilots into non-articulated figures - as long as they're cheaper, obviously -, just not a simple repaint with a head swap.

Ryoma's normal face looks great. But his yelling face is too crooked like his face is melting. Like these figures, but a bit pricey.

The Getter pilots did have a very "crooked melting" look on their face in Armageddon. Maybe a bit TOO hot-blooded. It looks like they tried to much to be anime-accurate; an exact copy of one particular frame. In the end, the face looks great and very anime-accurate from a high angle (CHAAAANGE GETTEEER OOOONE!!! style), but somewhat weird from a low angle (like the pic with the gun, next to Getter 1). Now that I think of it, I wish these figures came with a seat with articulated levers like in the anime.

Classic Mega Man and Megaman.EXE are out.
Ryoma pushed back to September.
Actually, Sentinel hasn't said anything and it's still listed for an August release on their website, but both AmiAmi and HLJ changed the release on theirs. So maybe it's just a matter of days; maybe Sentinel did ship it very late this August.

Received the Megaman and Megaman EXE yesterday from AMIAMI. Both look nice but are really small. EXE looks better IMO. Paid average of $42 with shipping included. While it does scale nicely with the D-Arts figures, $42 is still high for such a small figure. And unlike D-Arts figures, there are no jewels or clear parts. The plastic is similar to the Optimus Prime Pen that was also made by Sen-Ti-Nel. It's a durable plastic that's really light weight. No ratchet joint. But because the figure is so light, it's able to hold poses without any problems. And the articulation on the figure is fantastic. Unlike the D-Arts, parts doesn't fall off. It's a fun little figure. In comparison to the D-Arts version, it was priced similarily during retail. I think I got mine at around $39 before tax. The D-Arts also came with a bunch more accessories, like blast effect parts and Rush. This one has one alternate face, a buster, and two open hands. Again, they packaged the unnecessary Sen-Ti-Nel display base. Which is one of the reason they needed a bigger packaging and reason this is priced at $42. My recommendation on this, wait for a sale.

If you only consider the figure by itself, ignoring the accessories (even Rush) and the price, which one is better? Sentinel's or the D-Arts Mega Man?
PS : My Ryoma is on the way, but it's flying SAL so it might take a while.

PS : My Ryoma is on the way, but it's flying SAL so it might take a while. Articulation wise the Sentinel version is better. The joints move fluidly. No sqweeks or tightness. Things stay in place and the body parts don't bang into each other. It's super easy to pose. One of the things I truely dislike on most D-Arts figures is how easy the part fall off. I know they made it so parts are swappable between figures but it also makes the figure a lot less fun to poses. Aesthetics wise, is hard call. Bandai's D-Arts has a better finish look. The clear plastic gems can be found on the end of the blaster, bottom of the feet and the side of the helmet. Whereas sentinel just painted these parts red. Plastic, the D-Arts uses a much shinier hard plastic. Sentinel version is more of a matte softer plastic. Anyway, congratulations with the Ryoma figure. Here is my quick snap shot of the Megaman figure in my display, standing next to D-Arts Megaman X. I no longer have the D-Arts Megaman cause I gave that one away a long time ago as a birthday present to my cousin.

Attachment Deleted4Inch-Nel Lite So that's really what they're going to do with Benkei and Musashi : little statues. The exact same body with a skin tone. I know they usually put those small prints about "the final product that could differ from the images shown" because their lawyer(s) told them to and they don't mean much, but I hope they do differ. Because that's just disappointing.

Gentinel.net is for orders from Japan.International customers can get them from d4toys.com . I don't know either if Hayato's a web exclusive. The set with Benkei and Musashi is one, for sure, but there's no preorders for Hayato by itself anywhere yet. Correction : Looks like both sites take international orders, but some items from Gentinel may only be available to some countries. Gentinel seems to be their Japanese site; D4toys is Chinese.

Got this from Sentinel's Facebook page : a "review" of the Hayato, Benkei and Musashi pack. sen-ti-nel.blogspot.ca/2016/10/4inch-nel.Jin.Hayato.htmlAs stated, Hayato is fully articulated and the other two are just almost identical static figures, except for their head which can be rotated left and right. Gotta love Google's autotranslation :

i got the ryoma, and its a little figure! four inches is not that big after all! a gijoe and star wars figure are 3.5 inches, so ryoma is only half inch taller.

Megaman being only 4 inches kind of works because he's supposed to be a kid anyway, but I can definitely see it being a bit frustrating with other characters.

greengetterguy (Continuing a conversation started in the Deals and Coupons thread in the BST section.)
Krimpov, how is 4inch nel figs? What is the PVC content on this guy? At $24, i might bite if he is mostly ABS. ABS is a hard plastic (like Lego and plastic model kits, you can NOT push in even with your finger nails. Its the safe plastic.) PVC is a soft plastic. (Most Hands and effects accessories of our beloved robots are made of these.) I'd say there's a lot of ATBC-PVC in there, then. Not 100% sure though. Some parts, like the coat and the legs feel like hard plastic, but their extremities (the torn edges of the clothes) are relatively flexible. All of those are soft enough to leave a mark into them with a fingernail. The scarf and the chains are definitely softer than the rest.
