Oh well, for a model kit it beats a blank. And he's got a nice beefy sculpt there. I've never seen that pudgy robot before, what robot character is he? zozo-mag

That's one of the enemy robots from the 70's Casshern, can't remember the name though.

I'm not being fooled again. Koto's kits are never worth their full retail price, and after the sub-par garbage that was Koto Shin Getter-1, i'm not paying another 6000+ yen for what Bandai would charge half for and have better build quality and parts separation on top of it.

Dear Mr. Mazinkaiser, please pee in the enclosed cup. You have been selected for drug testing to rule out steroid abuse. Thanks

ah, model kit. so collectors can paint it the way they see fit, no issues on anime accuracy i presume Kotobukiya kits are usually already molded in color, so painting isn't an issue, and articulation looks to be quite good. Of course, they don't have the heft or smooth finish of an actual toy, so I think that would probably be the biggest drawback for everyone else here.

I am aware of that i own a couple of kotobukiya pre-painted models, halo and star wars, very nice products. However, the listing at amiami did not indicate it as "pre-painted" as what kotobukiya always do when their products are actually pre-painted. www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-4045&page=topLook at the bottom of the picture, there is a fine print, "*Photos are of a completed, painted sample. The actual product may differ." so high chance it does not come painted. But i could still be wrong though, afterall, japanese advertising are know to advertise one thing but end product turns out to be another (eh hi-metal r line? ) lol

I would hope it would come with the correct colors. The face would be a nightmare to paint.
This Kaiser looks great! The best I've seen so far.

HLJ says the model is 23cm tall. So 1/100 scale if you go off the OVA's height. Just something I thought I would mention in case people are wondering how this would potentially scale with SOC Mazingers.

Nice! Might pick this one up. I'm no good with paint at all, though, so hopefully the finished kit looks as good as those photos.
