My Microman Mods

Just thought I would share pics of some of my Microman mods. Hope you enjoy.

On this one I just replaced Skymaster's head with that of Cobra Commander.

This one may be my best so far. It was made by combining three figures (head and hands for a underworld lycanthroph, feet and additional leg joint from a X-man Wolfsbane, and every thing else is a Microman Commander fig)

4-Arm:
I built this guy just to see if i could. Each arm works as it should.

Micro lady Mod:
She was built before Takara relessed any information about the Microman Lady line. It is no where as cool as the real thing. but I tried and thats all that counts.

Assassins:
just a few other figs I put together.


This the frist time I have posted any of my mod's online so be kind

When Microman was re'relessed in 2003 I found that these where the toys I was wating for. They were the right size and had the articulation I was looking for, makeing it possible to bring my idea's to life. In the prosses I have found many others with the same idea.

Most of my mods are just other sall figs cut up and slaped together with a new paint job for good luck. However I Want to do some complet resculpts someday.
But for now my tools are limited to what I can find at hand no matter what it is just as long as it works (yes duct tape is my friend) any way the camera I have at my disposal is only 1 mega pix, so the pic quality could be better, that and I'm no photogapher However I will learn one way or another

I am also working on a few other fig's that are not pictured here. I hope to have them finnished soon.

Hey those look great! I've been thinking about customizing some myself, and Cobra Commander head gives me the idea to do some other G.I. Joe characters. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic mods, Rev-spazim! How did you do the four armed figure, or is that a trade secret? Did they take you long? I've never customized toys but I do make model kits and I spend vast amounts of time on them. Your pictures are quite small; do you need a macro lens to get any closer? I don't have a digital camera yet but when I get one it will need to be able to get in right up close to all my little toys. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the your feed back Hypnotator, to tell the truth other than the Cobra Commander fig the 4-arm guy was the next e-zest fig to make. he was made by chopping up the chest of another microman and attaching to the back of the bace fig with a bit of epoxy and paint.

As for how long the Mods took if I'm just changing the heads then it takes about 5 min. however most figs take 2-3 day (most of the time spent is in panning)

The pic's are acttualy just thumbnails so thats why their small
