How do I post pictures?

How do I post pictures? I've brought lots with me today and would like to share them. Some are bitmaps and some are jpegs. Please help somebody!

The board itself doesn't provide any image hosting. So the first thing you need to do is get your images online somewhere. There are lots of free image hosting services out there, I don't use any myself so can't recommned one - perhaps someone else can?

Once your images are online you can add an image into the post using the [ img ]http://url.of.my/image.jpg[ /img ] (without the spaces) tags. You insert them with an image URL wherever you want the image to appear in the posting.

Ok it's not the simplest of things to do, but it's the only way it can be done on this board.

It's clearly more involved than I thought, so I will wait until I have time on my hands. Watch this space for Cyborg pictures. You have saved me wasting more time trying to paste them directly in, though.
