Hi guys,
I've been out of touch from hobby collecting for a while (about 4 years). Before, I used to be an avid fan of Revoltech super robot figures until I was moving from my old place to new one, I put all of my Revoltech on a box and left it for about 2 months. I live in tropical country with average temp on day about 32 degrees and high humidity. Probably I put it on an attic storage which is hot, almost all of my collection have various degrees of heat damage, mostly melting and/or paint damage. So with that said I left all of my collection on my attic storage and moved again to a new place.
I just recently start picking up Bandai's SRC line and have mixed feeling with its quality. I'm okay with sharp plastics, but it seems very brittle and a play session might broke a sharp tip or two.
Just so happened I'm in the market to buy black Getter 1 (my most favorite getter design). Kind of off with the SRC extreme price as it's web exclusive (it's worth US$120 here). Although I already have Revoltech black Getter 1, sadly it was the one with the most heat damage. Looking around, I stumbled into a local online seller that sells Legacy of Revoltech black Getter 1 at acceptable price. The box is different than the original one I purchased half a decade ago, seems like I missed a lot during my sabbatical.
Would be great if someone can explain what is the change to Legacy of Revoltech, however, is the material Legacy of Revoltech the same soft plastic all around like old Revoltech releases? Also, what is the deal with Vulcanlog x Revoltech? And why is the Vulcanlog Goshogun is quite expensive compared to old Revoltech releases.
