Anyone have any experience with warped plastic...? I finally got around to opening mine and well, surprise (kinda going with a theme lately for me): The left chest is warped.  I contacted BBTS and given that this was past the 60 day window I got the polite and firm PFO...so, I'll have to resolve this on my own. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance. |

The plastic is warped and my thoughts initially is that I'll need to apply heat? That makes me nervous...

I'm almost tempted to hire a toy repair person. I had used Billmaru before but he has not responded to my messages. Maybe give it another few days.

What a shame for such pricey figure and official... Wonder how TT is giving solutions to retailers and shops. My MP black Soundwave came with missing fingers : glad KFC produced articulated hands. I am still finding those TT conehads lazy products fromm TT : I skipped (encouraged by the reports of poor quality issues reported by collectors). Maketoys did a very good interpretation of them. The prototypes I had during TFCON are very good. -> Meteor is a top shelf toys  |

The prototypes I had during TFCON are very good. -> Meteor is a top shelf toys To be honest, I've become quite disappointed with TakaraTomy MPs...for the price you pay, you get no gokin and the QC (i.e. plastic) just feels...cheap. And on top of that, I need a PhD to transform them. Either I'm becoming dumber with age or there's something not right about a toy that takes that much effort to transform. I remember G1 toys that I grew up with that I could transform easily without even looking at the manual. Anyways, the warped plastic is not something the video helps with. I need a toy-fixer's help here as I'm not comfortable attempting it on my own. BBTS gave me a polite PFO as my purchase is well-past the 60 day grace (CHECK YOUR TOYS, FOLKS!!) period. So, I'm on my own here. Billmaru still has not responded (and it's pretty much a week now despite him posting on Twitter) and I sent another guy (here: www.mintconditioncustom.com/figurerepairs/) a note and hopefully he'll get back to me... |
