I know it’s not the original 299 but way I see it, price is better than eBay? I am sure you’ve seen those prices? I mean 500-750 range WTF? One dude wants 1k? Really .... if you want it then get it if not well keep wondering when it will be “reissue”.
Decisions have to be made but this figure it really is fantastic worth every penny ....

I think GX-01R was reissued the most. The GX-04S version was reissue more than twice. Even the 03 Combattler V got reissued a couple time before they got to the GX-50 version. Side note, I am kinda glad that eKnight hasn’t request payment yet. Not that it matters much, cause it’s gonna be paid for with a credit card. Just that since I already own this figure years ago, there’s no excitement in getting another one just to keep MiB. |

F our customers and scalp them” God forbid a business actually try to increase their profit margin. They announced ahead of time they would pre-sale. They announced when their pre-sale started. All for MSRP. If they really wanted to screw customers, they would have done it during the pre-sale when everyone was franticly trying to buy from all vendors. |

I think the running gag early was that this re issue was up so many times and for so long that anyone who didn't grab one just plain didn't want one and now there's balking at it being up for $100 over said preorder price that went up repeatedly and sat.
$400 new is still an absolute steal over the people trying to pawn off the original release to this day used for $500-$600 like a red logo on the box is prestigious.
For anyone looking don't listen to anyone balking at $400; buy it, be happy, and be even happier when you see nothing but $600 plus listings in a month.

I’m balking a retailer scalping their own customers.
FYI, I have two on preorder (one from BBTS who shipped already), and one from TCP.
They’re a business, and they can do whatever they want. Likewise, as paying customer, I can scoff all I want.

Do what you want, man. It's your business and I hadn't quoted anything you've written because it wasn't directed at anyone in particular but I do implore you to learn what scalping is because we as a community have ba$t*rdized its actual meaning to the point where its just a projection of dislike over a given price which is no where near what it actually is. BBTS buying all stocks from all retailers to control the market value is scalping. BBTS selling random cancelled preorders that were available for months at msrp at a price that isn't anywhere near the going second-hand rate isn't scalping. Outside of that, "do you" and you have the right to feel how you will and express it as you wish. |

I’m so happy for everyone getting their GX-71’s this second time around that wasn’t able to during the initial release. The post from a few days ago was right: if you haven’t gotten one yet, do it now while the market is quasi saturated with quick-buck flippers, before prices really start going up and stay up. No one feels good paying 2.5x retail... |
