I wasn’t even into collecting when the first one was released. I made sure to get two this time, and two GX-88s as well. I got my BBTS order in the pile of loot, and waiting for TCP to get their stock. Can’t wait!

The GX-71 has now found a permanent home. While I’ve managed to make some space next to him for the GX-88, it’s going to be a tight squeeze to try and fit in a second GX-71 as individual lions – especially when I also want to chase down some vintage GoLion/Dairugger stuff in the future. My Voltron has arrived. I admit I was skeptical. I have yet to see a photo that made it look great, no mater how well the photo was shot. Having held it in hand now, I get it. It is an awesome piece.  |

Now that I've got the Bandai Soul of Chogokin GX-71 Voltron and Titan Power King of Beasts next to each other, I don't f**kin' know man... I had the SOC on a really high pedestal and still do but that Titan Power aesthetic is just so damned imposing in comparison and it's not just the size difference.  |

I should have expected this as soon as it wasn't shipping out by the 20th. Now the question now is how far into September will this now be shipped. I finally got my GX-71 package. I sold my first issue and I am keeping the second one. I got two of the reissue as you can see but the second was sold a couple of months ago to a friend. I would not have sold my original one if I wasn't getting the new one. It's just too good of a Chogokin figure and a too good toy period.  |

Man I was supposed to get mine today but it's tomorrow instead 😢. But I'm gonna have my 2016 version out for one more time before I keep him in the display case. Glad everybody is finally able to get this amazing toy.
