Still nothing at Amazon.ca... which should surprise absolutely no one.
Preordered at Amazon.com just to be safe, but will probably end up cancelling. Even if they refund most of the import fees deposit (as they usually do), that is still one expensive SOC.

What baffles me is that this is GX-71. What happened to GX-70? The GaoGaiGar add-on set didn't count as GX-70, right? Maybe some of the guys here that are at SDCC can ask the staff at the tamashii booth?

does toy source allow canceling of pre-orders? No Q: What is TOYSOURCE’s Order Cancelation Policy? For instock orders The TOYSOURCE may allow a cancelation of an order if it has not yet been processed, once it's been processed it cannot be canceled. In the case of a preorder, The TOYSOURCE does not allow cancelations of preorder merchandise. However we do realize at times customers may be unable to pay for preorder merchandise, and we can work with the customer on payment plans or in certain cases a cancelation. The TOYSOURCE reserves the right to refuse future transactions with any customer that cancels multiple orders or large amounts of merchandise. You can read more about preorders at ToySource Preorder Policies.

Just pre-ordered with Anime-Island. Price is great at 278$ USD.
20% deposit (non refundable)
Since I live in Canada it's a great choice as they lower the declared value to help clear customs.
Shipping was a bit high at 60$ USD

I went with BbTs over ToySource. Sure I'll pay the $11 in shipping but I am more confident and comfortable with BBTS. ToySource is TFSource. My experience with them is not that good. They are okay when there isn't any problems. Their customer service is not good if there are problems though. My two bad experience that I had with them, a repackage toy sold to me as new and a 3P weapon add on set that was missing a piece which they refused to replace. The weapon set was boxed in Windows display style and can clearly see that one of the spot was missing an item. They still sent it out to me, perhaps they through it was knocked loose and still in the package. Anyway, they refused to help and told me to contact the 3P company to get replacement part. The repackage toy, luckily it was complete but still, they sold it to me claiming it was new. They didn't even bother retaping and fastens the figure back up.
I did see amiami and hlj listing before they were sold out. And the exchange rate and the pricing seem a little high. @$275-280, and tack on the shipping, anywhere between $30-50 and it's the same as buying it domestically or higher. CA tax on Amazon would put this one at $330, still higher even when there is free shipping. If Amazon were to discount it at 10-20% then I will switch over.

I went with Anime Island. Dont forget the coupon code!!! 5% Internation, but it was 5% off the 20% deposit. I don't want to pay in full now, out of my budget. I don't know if the 5% will apply to the balance?

GX-70 is still TBA...so, something else is coming. But, we all know it's a Mazinger Z. an italian forum member posted that the gx70 is another mazinger z but that will cost above $800 dollars! but i don't think its going to be something that expensive in the regular soc line.

I ordered DX Chogokin Great Mazinger from them. So it's a pretty expensive piece. Items arrived a few days after most US seller. Shipping was high (but I live in Canada, so there is never a Free Shipping option for me).
Good thing is that the lowered the Custom value, so when it arrive I didn't pay any tax or duty, wich is high also in Canada.
