the vehicle voltrron was a different company. miracle i think? I heard in some reviews Miracle Toys got bought out by Mad Toys or something like that. Like new production staff or something.

learn something new everyday on this board lol. Well there is a good possibility that I could be wrong. So there's that. Though a Mad Toys rendition of Vehicle Voltron still sounds tempting.

jaylive i guess you have the 2015 print, did it came with number stickers ? and how come you didn't share it with us bro lol, you know sharing is caring right ? xephon0930 i honestly didn't hear that, but according to both companies they are not the same and they are separate, they both have a membership here in RJ

With all of this talk of MadToys King of Beast, if anyone wants mine it's in my sales thread. Price is negotiable. (Yes I know shamesless plug).
The SOC just covers most of the bases for me as far as Golion/Voltron goes.

Thanks, but I meant that there was no page for it on BBTS. If you search for Soul of Chogokin you'll see GX-69 and then GX-71.

They rushed out GX-71 for SDCC while GX-70 is to honor the 20th anniversary of the SOC line and hasn't even been fully shown with no info on price and such.

I'm not surprised. WEP has been releasing the same thing over and over again for the last 30+ years. Whether its with Toynami, Mattel or even Bandai now. The fact that these are releasing virtually the same thing again and with a $200-300 price is going to burn the fanbase out.

I try to keep up with most Voltron stuff...but I have to pick and choose. Its getting even harder now. Would we even settle for a ~$100 plastic Voltron? could a diecast one even be sold/made for that low of cost?

i guess they wanted to take their time with the GX-70, but WEP finally approve to give them a license Voltron was finished and ready so they throw it to keep us busy lol Thanks, but I meant that there was no page for it on BBTS. If you search for Soul of Chogokin you'll see GX-69 and then GX-71. yea you know online stores dont keep up with the figures news they list what they have in some sites they listed the GX-70 as Mazinger V2 (Version 2) i really hope they drop that old sculpt and do something new I think the 25th Anniversary version was Plastic and it was still over $200 iirc. there was 3 figures at that time a regular Version come in a normal box (cost between $80 - $100) a 25th anniversary edition metallic color comes with a different box (got it for $160) and a 25th anniversary collector set that cost over $200 but it was a failed the figure was collapsing on itself the best thing about it was the box and its artworks the chrome on the figure and that's it

And then you have Toynami having the audacity to sell us their EX Voltron for $400 and no diecast period. So yeah, $300 for an SoC is not too out there. Especially for combining robots.

Oh I get that. That's why its rarely used anymore. My issue is that Toynami kept releasing the same mold with little to no changes. And still had the shoulder problems. Though I think WEP is just as much to blame here. Toynami can't re-release it without their consent. They will burn out their fans eventually.
