I've had a lot more time during quarantine to play with and enjoy my various GoLion figures...it got me to thinking, is it realistic to think Bandai might one day release the ST/miniature version of GoLion in a premium format like SoC?

Hm, a full action GoLion SOC, sounds fantastic. I can see it happening! Hopefully Bandai feels the same way.

Haha... that would be pretty awesome. I was hoping Bandai would take it the other direction and give us a SOC DX version of golion and dairugger  (one can dream I guess...) |

I think probabilities are really high, we will probably have a an FA voltron. About a DX release I can't imagine it happening before many years (I think bandai has other priorities in that line and releases are really slow)

i really dont see how Bandai will improve any of the GX71 & GX88 they both are gokin royalty
maybe LEDs for both and anime color for GX71 thats all i can think of

On the 2nd point,toy-wise,yes. The Dairugger has towered over the Golion but the spec for both say 60 meters tall. So they are the same height. |

Well then make them both bigger the size of the original dairugger will be just fine. Focus on the joints or offer a version that can be wrenched on with special voltron tools and workshop. Offer upgraded parts made from different materials like aluminum or forged carbon titanium would be very nice or go the Elon musk/delorean way with stainless steel. That would be better than putting out the same robot every few years with a paint alteration every 3rd or 4th run. Get rid of this habit of using glue on these to seal parts shut. They didn't do that in the 80s and I see only one reason for it which is bad design. OK I'm feeling the affects of the covid isolation.

I want buy the 2nd release with blue logo of bandai , even for today the price crazy high , i have no option today is still available below $500 ... and plan to buy it.
Anyone here can explain what is difference 1st release with 2nd release ?

Bandai red in 1st release Bandai blue 2nd release . |
