Some observations for the Gx-70VS set: -The Hover Pileder seems to be fixed in closed wing and open wing positions (2 seperate pieces). The wings don't fold up. -This is the only way to get Hover Pileder. The DC Maz by default comes only with Jet Pileder. -The Scrander seems to have the ability to fold it's wings now, I'm not sure if the default one can? -Scrander doesn't have the "Southern Cross Knife" ports anymore. -Different paint apps for the body of the Scrander vs the default one -The "Z" on the Scrander is meant to capture the look of the Scrander in the Maz vs Devilman movie. -The catapult for the Scrander is now blue (movie accurate) as opposed to the yellow (TV show accurate) on the default. -A new "cap" accessory for the "launched" Rocket Punch bicep is included? Gold

So I just watched the clip Bader posted, interesting to see that there's parts swapping involved in regards to the skirt plates to improve range of motion (2:00 mark).

Wait, 4300 yen? That means it's just an accessory pack and they're not just re-releasing the same figure with different accessories, right?
I feel like I should buy one just so I'll have it when/if I get the GX-70, just so I don't have to track it down later. If it's a web exclusive, that is.

I just love that Hover Pilder with the clear cockpit dome/hatch, finally. I always wondered why GX-08 Aphrodai got a clear cockpit dome, and GX-10 BOSS got real cockpit doors/windows, but all the GX-01s got a blue painted on cockpit dome/hatch. Mazinger Z SOCs always got the shaft, until now.

welp....that kinda suck that we have to get the mzvsdm scrander/hoverpilder set seperatly. would much prefer to have them both on the same package. does this mean when great mazinger comes out his great booster will as well be sold seperatly?. dang...

Bandai SOC team had a great opportunity to add damage parts to this option set....for a Character perfectly set for damaged parts...
Imho, arguably, currently overall quality wise, the ONLY company that is comparable to Bandai is Hot Toys.
Hot Toys routinely adds damaged parts..come on Bandai SOC. You gonna let a new comer take your championship belt? Are you in this fight or not?

I still don't quite understand why this additional scrander sold separately. Why give us a scrander with the figure and then sell another one? I realize the wings fold up but is that such a big deal? Scratching my head here. Maybe they should sell a mini set of barbells and dumbells so this scarecrow can beef up a bit.

that pic of devilman and mazinger z shakin hands is so nostalgic,i truly need to get this. still dissapointed that this set is been sold separatly, but there is one big issue that i got and its the hover pilder. more specifically the one with the wings folded up, it looks terrible i mean wtf?!?! that is the worst folded wings mold the have done to the hover pilder. plus they still haven't done an articulated one, even the model kit version looks miles better than this.

Skinny dude. Excited about the new joint system though. Very cool. Though I don't understand why the separate scrander? It comes with one AND there is another sold separate? What are the advantages of the other scrander? Gold Additional 4320y?! Geezus mutherfeckin' Bandai! All that stuff in the VS kit should be included by default in GX-70. There's plenty of dead space in the gx-70 tray and box.

hehe, that was the original plan, until some wise a## suggested "Why not make the Hover Pileder an exclusive... cha-ching!" At least we'll be getting one of these, hopefully: I hope it's pewter, similar to the Black SOC mini-figs

im not happy AT ALL with the way Bandai milking stuff ALL the features that the GX-70VS scrander could be put on the regular scrander that came with the GX-70, also there is ton of space in that huge box dont tell me a tiny statues and hover pilder will make it crowded inside the box
