You could also find a different middleman as long as they were in Hong Kong. It's not being sold outside of HK.

I contacted the seller a few weeks ago. He replied immediately (next day, due to time difference) and gave me an estimate w/shipping based on my location.
He also mentioned that while he didn't have any in stock he was waiting for a new batch by the end of the month and he would hold one for me. He contacted me a few days ago telling me that he had them in hand and asking for payment.
Again he shipped the next day and I just got the tracking. Fingers crossed that it gets here in good (and short) order.
I can post photos once I get it but the reviews everywhere I've seen are very positive. Also, the gougers are selling it on eBay for about $1K already.

I saw Nekrodave's in person (the one in the collectiondx review) and was very impressed. The quality is very high and the piece is pretty imposing among other toys.
