Seems awfully quiet on the Daizyujin front, for a figure that releases next month. Any magazines or events we should be keeping an eye on?

We're all counting any pennies and dimes we find under the couch But in all seriousness, I cannot wait for this thing. I must confess I've been tuned in almost daily to any news about the Daizyujin, but so far the last thing I saw was on the winter anime show. There's a video about a few pages back showing partial transformation. It is amazing, definitely the ultimate megazord. By the way, can any soul of Chogokin collector confirm if the plastic they use on these products is the same type we see in the Legacy zords? Out of topic, for anyone familiar with the super sentai artisan megazords, what can we expect from the SSA Dairenoh?

Out of topic, for anyone familiar with the super sentai artisan megazords, what can we expect from the SSA Dairenoh? Well with what I have seen via reviews for Sentai Artisan products they tend to use what is most likely available such as when a new series or a series not long ago is released they reuse or remake the old molds for certain toys. But for stuff over decades old like the series used for Power Rangers, they will most likely use the Legacy molds. And granted some added content of the Artisan Henshin Devices are amazing especially latter entries, the Sentai Artisan usually have special extras to try and get people to buy their stuff even if they already have it. Doesn't always work like with the short Power Crystal for the Artisan Dino Buckler to balance out or try to with their lack of sounds compared to the Legacy release. I believe that the Artisan Dairenoh will most likely be the same mold outside of screw hole covers and those balls are all that they really added that is new. I may be wrong but that is what it most likely looks like.

For me, I was quite happy with the Legacy Megazord. Is this SOC totally going to blow that one out of the water?

For me, I was quite happy with the Legacy Megazord. Is this SOC totally going to blow that one out of the water? You can't imagine. The jump in quality to SOC will blow your mind if you are used to the Legacy stuff. One is a really really nice quality retail toy. The other is a fully engineered adult collector art piece.

You'd think Bandai would be making another video like they did for SOC GaoGaiGar showing off all of its features and transformation and trying to hype this thing up as the definitive Megazord figure for all collectors. As it is, there's STILL people wondering if its going to be any better than the Legacy figure.

I am just thrilled to be getting the highest grade, posable zords of this iconic beast. In particular, I'm happy we are getting a respectable tyrannozord. The green ranger fans got their legacy dragonzord but we that love the tyrannosaurus never got satisfied. I wish the tyrannosaurus was larger to match the legacy dragonzord, but I'm not gonna riot, he is way more posable.
Unlike most ranger fans, I'm more into the mecha because of the animal aspect, and display my zords as individual beasts. These SOC beasts are just beautiful, I'm planning my display case already .
As taurusoxford said, I can't believe there are fans that do not understand the difference between the SOC and the legacy, but agree it's due to poor power ranger marketing. We have videos and photo showing the details and transformation but unless you specifically know how to find them you won't see them. I'm surprised they haven't done a try and play session like thy did with gx 71 at nycc. I dot think there are anymore toy related events planned here in the west where they could do this before the release.
By the way, I'm even throwing a SOC release party with a life size Reese's peanut butter cup cake. You're all invited 😎

I'm not sure if the plastics are different but legacy seems like the stuff used on DX sentai mecha, the SOC seems to have a slightly different quality? At least on Daioja red robot the plastic seems quite thin but still strong.

Well, I had to cancel my pre-order for Daizyujin. I just can't justify paying upwards of 450 Canadian dollars on it when i'm currently in a money crunch cause of our sh*t economy. If anyone is still looking for one, HLJ might update soon.
