This could have been a very nice Dougram line. But I suppose the demand is just not there to keep it going. It's a shame. The old Takara kits often included support vehicles, personnel, and other peripherals that nicely rounded out the play value/diorama possibilities.
The fact that Bandai had this tank to release with the 40th Anniversary Dougram hints that they were at least contemplating doing something similar.
Blockhead would be a very welcome choice, if we just end up getting one more. Desert colorway, even better. Though a Bigfoot or Bushman is nice too.
Bigfoot, Bushman . . . I'd take ANY combat armors they threw our way if they had quality similar to the first three releases. And if they started including support vehicles and the like, all the better.
Alas, the Roundfacer repaint will probably be the last hurrah for the line.
And I've long since given up on seeing any more Macross destroids or Zabungaroo walker machines. (Bah and humbug!)

Aw yeah I knew Zabungle HMR was over when the Timp Custom and Brockary turned into shelf warmers and then clearanced out. But Dougram figures have sold decently, I think. Don't give up hope.

You're right. They must think there's something there or they wouldn't bring these up for sale again. They might be using these web exclusives to gauge demand.
Even if it was just one or two more combat armors, I'd be endless happy. The Dougram designs were my gateway drug to robot nirvana.

I have to get this. I missed out on the first run green Roundfacer. Looks like this set comes with 2 Instead tanks.

Comparing 40th Roundfacer vs original release

I could ALWAYS get another Roundfacer.
Unlike Dougram, he’s an army builder. Mine has a number 21 on it. The new one has 17 on him. And The blue one has 24.
More painted parts and some panel lining on these.

New silver paint and extra decals does make Dougram look better. Just not enough to double dip. Sigh...

Looks like a great release. Two tanks with three turrets really ups the play value. I'm personally not too keen on the silver paint or panel lining, but I dig the added markings and darker green.
The markings on the rifle and hands are like the old dual-model artwork that I spent way too much time staring at as a kid.

No new Dougram reveals at the tamashii nations event. I am crestfallen.

My HMR Dougram has issue with the rubber hands, developing a thin layer of white powder/mold all over it after displaying for a couple years. Same thing happens to the hands of my SRC Mazinger Zero. Though it does look like something I can wash off. Have a feeling Bandai used some bad rubbery plastic on some toys from that era and they are having some weird chemical reaction. Do any of you guys have the same issue?

Yup, the same issue with my Dougram.
Roundfacer’s hands are perfect.
