BorgHunter, are you trying to start a METAL Vs everything else debate? True Metal, as in Death to False Metal? Sounds good to me.
I remember once being admonished for describing Napalm Death as hardcore, to a non-music fan, and a guy listening jumped in and said naaah, naaah, they'reNOT hardcore , they're GRINDcore...and then got all upset when I called him anal. Like non-music fan would know the difference!
Anyway, I like lots of kinds of music, and see lots. Last month I saw RUSH, the Killers, Jet, Sloane and gay rockers the Scissor Sisters. Next month its PJ Harvey and maybe even mini-Kiss. Keep an open mind I say.
Reminds me, I bought a Maiden DVD, 4 hrs long apparently. Got to check it out. I remember seeing them at Hammersmith in 1984 - great show!
I got to see Balzac in June. Great outfits, but kind of dull songs....very woah woah misfits, and that was about it. Excellent merchnadise selection however!

Man Hippy that sucks up the whazoo!
Almost $50 in customs!
If you are daring have them declare the value like 10 pounds next time.
Fortunately we don't have those custom charges in the USA!

HEY TEX, I did get your email.....sorry I didn't reply, I get 60 mails a day that are work realted, and sometimes personal emails get buried. Anyway, I'm still recovering from Comicon, so not planning a trip to Pomona in a while. I'm sure they will still be available, as I seem to be the only peroson buying from the guys dsiplay cabinet. By the way I put Cocoboy up on ebay, using a stock photo. I think I need Hypno dude to take my photos. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5912150232&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:ITIts not cheap I know, but way less than the only other place that has it. Onto Rush. Yeah, they still rock. They played for nearly three hours...and its the early stuff I like most. The new covers album was represented, and they did the best version of Summertime Blues - since Blue Cheer. They were great. This afternoon X did a signing at Tower, so I lined up to meet my long time faves, they were cool, altho Billy Zoom couldn't have been more bored. Later men of Muton!
