Occasionally we stumble across a Transformers toy that ticks all the right boxes, strikes a chord, presses the right buttons etc, and yet leaves a majority of others cold. There are plenty of unpopular figures in the Transformers toy universe, both official and otherwise. Some figures, however, were supposed to be game changers and all time greats that for some reason don’t fulfil their promise in the eyes of the majority. Even if the criticism is justified and I understand the hatred for certain Transformers toys, on a handful of occasions I have not had my own appreciation or enjoyment of them dampened. In each case, however, there have been mitigating circumstances. I Love It, You Hate It | Source Blog <- CLICK TO READ

Ironically, in spite of all the criticism V1 MP-9 got, it seems like I was better off not upgrading to V2 with it's introduction of a whole bunch of other issues. Especially when the only major point of breakage in V1 was the leg plates which I've somehow still managed to not break (knock on wood there), and even then you can still kind of stick them back and have them hold with friction. Not something you can do with crumbled ratchet joints, really. And d**nit, he looks great next to MP-21. (Also, I totally expected this article to be about the Pretenders or something) EDIT: Wow, I can't say "damn"!? EDIT 2: Okay, so apparently I can say "damn" but not "damnit". What the hell, man? EDIT 3: ...so apparently I only get censored on post but not edit. That's a bit messed up.
