I am afraid this is going to be full of plastic ;/ it's probably >70% diecast if not more according to the pictures from HLJ. Red parts are diecast.

He means that it will just be diecast covers/pieces, not the entire limb.

Ya it's not clear if the back halve is also diecast or not. In either case that's more diecast than most modern chogokins.

The amount of diecast is dayum tempting...but, ET's rep is a hurdle. Gotta think about this.

I'd be pruden and wait for a review or two, then wait more for it to go on AA's 30 percent off chopping block....if you stil want it.
I own more ETs then id like to admit and none of them are on display. Their Metal S series is an utter failure. A floppy mess.
$350 before shipping.....thats more then Sentinel Shin Getter... Thats crazy talk

Thats crazy talk It's a one foot tall diecast toy. The price is actually lower than I expect given ET's typical high price points on plastic figures. The size is DX SOC category.

True that.
But I have hard time accepting their price now. Along with HLPro,They are 3rd tier developers now....
There just no excuse for what they are asking and i will not enable them.

It looks cool and I don't think the price is out of line for a big, DX style gokin. I have a bunch of Evolution Toys (My favorite is the Gaiking the Great with Daiku Maryu set).
Tetsujin is a definite void in my collection. But I'm holding out for a POPY/GoDaiKin down the line. Tetsujin to me is a Holy Grail, grand finale piece. This doesn't meet that mark.

It's tempting, but I am so disapointed by the lack of finition from this company... (maybe I am wrong because I didn't following them for a while despite they have really good sculptors working for them) I don't know if it's a prepoduction sample teased for the preorders or a painted prototype but those kind of details are like a warning to me : (bad finitions) Anyway... still tempted eheh I wish Bandai is doing the original Tetsujin in SOC DX line... :/ (poorly engineered hand)

GX 44S is an awsome figure....
Black OX is THE best "accessory" ever!!! Too bad Black Oxs so damn top heavy. Bandai had a brainfart and put most of diecast on his....chest. Dumb, just dumb
Tetsujin himself is a masterpiece. Almost 80 percent diecast?!?! Amazing.

I love 80s tetsujin but couldn't get a good feel for the slight changes in the SOC sculpt. I wanted it to be popy/godaikin-esque as far as the shape.
Even this ET version I'm a little finicky with - it looks closer to what I like, but still a little off. I'm not turned off by the price compared to their magnet junk, but I think just because it is ET I will definitely wait for a review before I order one.

I'm tempted to buy this more as placeholder for bigger DX Bandai version whenever that happens. I have void in my collection without this one.
