Hi, I'm also looking for the Laserion armor... do you know if it was sold separately or only as the complete set with Laserion? So far I've only seen the latter on auction sites. Thanx!

As far as I know it was only available in the set. I did have just the boxed armor for sale, as well as the sleeve for the set, but they have sold. I have one extra loose DX laserion figure to sell, no armor.

No store yet, but thinking of opening a webstore - occasionally I sell on eBay and some other social platforms.
I'm not a dealer though, just someone who is fortunate to love collecting and was able to start with a great mix of toys when I was a child.
Nowadays, I go after very specific stuff for my own collection because I have owned so many things in the past. I probably sell about 20% of what I find or buy, but never buy everything I find or that I'm offered because someone else might need it more than me. So what I sell is a mix of things I find and also things I may have had since childhood or more recently that I just don't want anymore or have upgraded.
My specialty is finding toys and parts in places no one else would ever look, and hopefully buying them so that I can get them to other collectors. It's toys and parts like these that I feel would disappear and never see the light of day because of the type of places I find them in, so I really try (within reason) to not leave things like that behind.
The armor itself has been all over the place lately price wise, as has the full double DX set. I would realistically budget 200-400 for the double set, 600 at the most for absolutely perfect. I have seen some people trying to more, around 800, but have never seen a solid sale at that price. The armor can be purchased boxed alone for anywhere from 100-300. Both sets are not as rare as people make them out to be.
You need to remember that for the godaikin line laserion is one of the most common, and for the popy line, his show came at the end of the super robot era so he is not immensely popular. You do need to buy the armor complete, you won't find spare parts and there are many small missiles in the armor as well.
I have quite a lot of stuff, if there's specific things you are looking for from Junkers/parts/paperwork/boxes/complete/MIB stuff etc just PM me. What I have depends heavily on the particular toyline/character.

Which missiles? The regular missiles that come with laserion will be easy to find. The missiles from the armor will be very difficult to find.
Contact robonutter here, he bought my set and he should be able to send you pics of the missiles next to a toy or ruler to get an idea of size.

Hi, sorry I wasn't more clear, I meant the missiles that fit into the armor, on the forearms. So far everything I've tried from other sets hasn't fit but I haven't gone through everything yet. It would definitely save me some time if someone could post a photo of them. Thanks!

Yes, I knew what you meant when I responded above. The armor missiles (forearm missiles) will be very difficult to find. They are very small.

Thanks, if you or someone can post a photo of them when its convenient then I at least know what to look for... it seems like a lot of the missiles are inter-changeable in the Popy line if you know how it tapers on the locking end of the missile.

I've had the Bandai double pack for sale at several toy shows, and it won't get looked at for $300 or more. It's always been a $250-300 set. Not 900. LOL

Jon is right. I sold mine here for a reasonable amount, I'll try to remember how much I got for it. I had seen people a year or two ago trying to get 400-600 for them and that was too high. I have seen the 800-900 ones and that is unrealistic. The armor can also be bought separately. The only thing unique about the giftset is the big outer sleeve. The cardboard sleeve is also slightly larger than the boxes it goes over so it is hard to get a mint one.

LOL I've been trying to look for other sources but yes, they're reaching Voltes V levels of expensive! I tried to bargain one of them down to something more reasonable but they insisted they couldn't let go of it for less than 840! I'm still on the lookout though!! |
