This december, we have the honor to receive Master Katsushi Murakami for the JAPAN TOUCH event. I have an interview scheduled with him to talk about mecha design and toys, and receive his impressions and comments over his great experience and art he spent on lots of legendary robots we love... still. I will ask him also what he think about the new versions of toys he designed. Stay tuned Please, do not hesitate to drop here few questions you would like to ask, I will drop them to represent Robot Japan members. This is gonna be hugely exciting ! For those who can come to the convention, here is the official website: www.japan-touch.com/www.japan-touch.com/blog/katsushi-murakami-robots-de-legende/

Ask him about how he made his prototypes... were they all on paper, and then did he do wood 2nd gen prototypes? Did he keep any/did any survive?
I geek out on the prototyping and how the designs evolved.

Any updates on this guys? The worse updates... His venue was canceled 2 days before the event :/ I am very upset. And no chance to get some Q&A by mail because there is someone filtering the communications... (no comment) Too bad, this was a chance to meet him in person. I had tons of questions. I will post here a compilation of nice articles about this great mecha master.
