I preordered at HLJ. Then had second thoughts and canceled. So keep an eye out there, it should pop back up.

Yeah...i am not too worried about missing out on the initial preorders to be honest, its a freakin SOC afterall, bandai manufactures them by the truck loads.

Cdjapan has 21 available right now, at the full price though. They require immediate payment, but you can cancel anytime before shipment using a credit card.

I wouldn't say $162(what I will be paying HLJ) is too much for an 8" mostly die cast robot that I have been lusting for. Oh wait, I have lots of store credit at HLJ so it will be substantially less expensive than I quoted. At half the cost of the Sentinel version, you still think it's vastly overpriced? The SRC is diminutive compared to this guy and does not have anywhere near the die cast content. I do like the effects parts though and wish Bandai would include them with SoCs. |

I just don't understand why this is $30 more than the GX-70 or GX-73, seeing as it doesn't seem to include much more, other than an additional set of scrander wings. Plus, displaying this along side the Sentinel Maz doesn't seem to make a whole lot of aesthetic sense to me. I still may get this once it hits the streets, I just want to see more. |

I'm glad that this Mazinkizer has sold out everywhere. This will increase the chance of DX SOC release. Um, what's wrong with the Max Factory iteration to compare these to? And I guess we COULD bring up the Aoshima versions too...but, those are alot less detailed. I mean, each version has their strong points. |

Well, GX-75 is well over an inch taller than than GX-70 and almost an inch taller than GX-73 and includes the extra scrander wings. |

Correction. The retail price of SOC Mazinkizer is 20000 yen, and the Sentinel is 32000. It's actually 1.6 times with maybe more than double the parts to realise that state of art articulation, but people cried like babies about its price. And those same people now seem to be very happy about this Mazinkizer's price, I guess gokin people just don't deserve that kind of quality. It's not just about the price but Sentinel's version is an ultra stylized version of Mazinkaiser that looks nothing like the character except for in shape. I love Sentinel's work and have many of their figures and have preordered Baikanfu but the Mazinkaiser is a big no thank you. With the preorder discount I am paying $162, $288 for the Sentinel but you can't find him for that much now. I would say that is very close to double and the Sentinel is way over double now. |

For me, after getting the sentinel mazinkaiser, I plan to sell my SRC Mazinkaiser, SRC Mazinkaiser SKL, SRC Mazinkaiser SKL Final (All are sealed). The sentinel one is so good that I lost interest on these 3 SRCs.
