It would make sense. Combatler V was GX-03 so DX-03. Grendizer was 04. Sadly I suspect you are overly optimistic about the pricing. I fear both Combatler V and Grendy will be $499 MSRP. Combatler V will be $100 per sub unit (although we can hope it comes with a Nanbara Connection Base instead of the Maz Hanger.) Grendy looks to come with a huge saucer that can House a small child. Chances are it will still have a Maz style hanger to hold the armor. allow me to explain my point of view Grenidzer is just like Mazinger and Great Mazinger so the robot it self and its accessories will cost about the same price as theses two (give or take) they even might throw the Double Spazer or (and) the TFO with the robot the Spazer will be sold as a TWE set just like Mazinger Z Jet Scrander, however the price will be as much as Fewure Spazer or a bit higher (if it include removal parts) i really dont want a hanger AT ALL, a simple stand that can hold Grendizer with the Spazer will be much much better about DX Combattler v, im not sure but i hope they sell all of the Ships together in one box, im not sure will it have removable parts tho, and i wish we get Nanbara base as well all what i wrote above is my personal guessing & thoughts, nothing official

I think you are failing to look at the more obvious question. What are the big upper end figures like the Fewture and Sen-it-Nel offerings going for? That's what the market will allow. That's where the Grendizer pricing will end up. Sad but true.

that spazer its gona be huge, i can't imagen tne figure and the spazer together selling less than $500. it's just not possible.
but i wonder if we will be able to remove the spazer armor to show its inner parts or are they gonna skip it like they did to GM's Scramble Dash.

Guys, guys, this is Bandai we're talkin about. The Spacer's gonna be a Tamashii Web Exclusive! ...... ....... followed by the Gx-04S King of Space DX set (which will also be another TWE). I am curious to see how they are going to get the Screw Crasher forearms to work, but most likely it will be a parts swapping thing. Gold

Gold Just from looking at that first picture, and the separate drawing of the blades, I suspect it will be much like the SOC's. With the blades affixed to a ring that goes between the hand and the wrist. You just reverse it for the blades out. Just done more elegantly than SOC's rubbery ones.

Oh man the rubbery screw crusher parts are so annoying. But my main issue was the limited articulation of the legs. DX will probably be limited too and that is why I am hoping they make a D.C. Release that can have more leg articulation. I also reserve judgement until we at least get some prototype photos of the DX to see how Bandai is going about it. I am so excited and have been waiting for this since DX Mazinger-Z.

My SOC book shipped so hopefully once I get I can see if I can get more info about this like size and stuff. It has to be bigger than Great Mazinger so I do see a price increase, plus the Spazer will most likely be the single most expensive accessory pack in the history of the SOC/DX SOC line easily unless it comes with it in which case I will be working a ton of overtime lol. Luckily I'm betting it won't be out for a few years.

you know i just realized something, DX Great Mazinger need it Great Booster to be complete like Mazinger z, and clearly Grendizer will need the other Spazers to be complete so im thinking they will do a TWE that include the Spazers along with the Great Booster

Is there is any mention for a release date?

I totally forgot about the other spazers. This could be an expensive set to acquire if they do all of them as said in a prior post. I hope that they do them. If they don't then that will be a lot of money left on the table for Bandai. It's just like Fewture did by not selling the other spazers.
Then again it all comes down to cost and profit for the company. If it's a smash hit I'm sure they'll kill us with exclusives.
HERES TO HOPING!!!!

Then again it all comes down to cost and profit for the company. If it's a smash hit I'm sure they'll kill us with exclusives. HERES TO HOPING!!!! Here's some of the dirty secrets regarding the industry. Add on sets for specific toys (as opposed to a more general playset for a range of toys) sell badly. Their rate of conversion from sales of the core toy to add on sales is typically 10-20%. Worse if they are not on the shelf at the same time. But there is not a corresponding decrease in production and distribution costs for the add ons. So the manufacturers are faced with packing as much as they can into the core set, but they must be careful not to exceed their pricing thresholds. (Every price jump of X creates a decision point that reduces purchasers. You need the main product in the sweet spot price wise. ) This is why most add ons are Tamashii Web Exclusives. Reduced distribution costs, plus the retailers typically don't want them as they can be shelf warmers. They can also produce in smaller runs if they are not selling into the channel. What this means is a host of Spacers remains unlikely as always. We'll get the Spacer, maybe the Double Spacer. Anything past that and market forces start to become a problem. Either it to elevates the cost of the core product or it is a hard to sell add on with no stand alone sales potential. As an example, take note of how badly Goldymarg sold vs GGG, which went back for extra production runs and was re-issued. And Goldy could be standalone.
