I finally took the plunge and got the blue one. Expectation was pretty low with the low bar set by the VF2SS and the poor reviews. The fighter mode didn’t even meet the low expectation with its tendency to fall apart with large gaps and loose connections. The soldier mode looks nice though. I needed it to complement the Sentinel ride armors coming real soon!

At the very least the soldier mode is decent with nice sculpt, which means it does what I need it to do which is to look pretty on a shelve.

I spent more time with fighter mode today. It’s not as bad as I initially feared when I first got it. It is possible to get the gaps to close almost all the way. And the fighter can hold together better than I had expected. Still, lots of dumb choices made in its design. Lots of room for improvements.
I still like it because I’m a fan of the Legioss design and of Mospeada. It looks good! The Anymoon videos really helped. It’s still more a display piece than it is a toy. Handle with care.
I wonder if they’ll make improvements for the red one.

I wonder if they’ll make improvements for the red one. It truly makes me wonder if they will listen to customer reviews and feedback from this blue one, and make the necessary tweaks and improvements for red and green. If red is the exact same quality, then unfortunately, it shows that ET doesn't care. I'm really hoping they do red and green much better and then do a small production run of version 1.5 of an improved blue. locidm, are you getting the red and green?

They've made small improvements in the later release of the VF-2SS so I'm hoping they'll do the same with Legioss.
Unfortunately I think I will stop at blue and won't find out myself about any possible improvements.
I've had the red CM's and the green Toynami legioss&tread in the past, but sold them long ago. Not planning to have the whole lineup at this point. The bikes are another story!
These are just too expensive for what it is. With no possibility for the tread. Hopefully in the future we will get a better Legioss with a good tread to go with it.
By the way I was playing with the missiles under the intake yesterday and discovered that they may have painted the red tip on the wrong end of the missiles. Typically the red tip faces forward but it doesn't peg in well at all. If I install the missiles with the red tip facing the back it actually pegs on really well. I might paint the other end red.

Can you just imagine if one of the 3rd party Transformers companies like Fans Toys produced a Legioss? It would be ultra high quality and with the right amount of diecast metal and at a fair price.

Who is taking the plunge on the Jota Type? Do they mention improvements or is it a straight up repaint? I would replace my blue one, which is a floppy mess, with this.

If ET would have built and designed these 3 better I would have bought each and every one. I also wish, for the price all of those markings were printed on instead being stickers.

Man that’s crazy you would think something iconic like this would have properly made by now. Seems like everytime I talk to local collectors about Mospeada or alpha fighters and such it’s always something bad about transformation.
