That is a very good looking Shin Getter 1. Looking forward to see further development on this. Already has an Aoshima. But if this turns out stunning, I might have to bite the bullet. As Shin 1 is my favorite modern Getter design.

But with Bandai punching away, how can Sentinel counter?
IF its around $350 like Kaiser, with all the crazy awesome Bandai releases, its going to be a tough pill to swallow...for me anyway.
Does it have LED gimmick at least?
Bandai has a bloodlust.

I can see some of the design elements carried over from Mazinkaiser to Shin Getter like the legs and torso.
I will take that pill GGG. I just hope they don't give me a regular version and them a few months later hit me with some shiny version like before. LOL

I don't give a flying sh*t about what Bandai is releasing in comparison to this. Voltron was holy sh*t amazing but then they went right back to mediocre with Megazord. Regardless of that, these companies market to different audiences with different tastes, preferences, and priorities and that's why both can release what they do without really competing with each other. |

See? I see that AND i do agree with you TJ on most points.... i didnt do my sad review of Megazord because i quietly canceled my preo on him.
BUT as the market goes......to me Bandai wants ALL of it. Any and ALL.
It wants whatever Sentinels having, its seemingly going after KO Metal Build Gundam with the Qan(T), it might now go after King Arts since its doing gokin Superrobots, It def has Hot Toys on its sight as the rep tells it. Hell its doing 1/18 Die-cast car!
Its not old Bandai, somethings changed....it going after everybody Young old, pirates, small studios, mom and pop toy makers, Asian market, Italians, Middle Eastern market (of course,and most def American market as its doing AMAZING it seems.)
Its Bent on total domination. Well at least that's my fun take on it. That's the impression I am getting.

Bandai isn't even doing anything that directly competes with Shin Getter 1 from Sentinel so I don't even know where all of this is coming from. Of course any company doing anything wants all of the market but most successful ones find their niche and capitalize (ie. these two.) Just because Lexus and Toyota both make cars doesn't put them in direct competition with each other.

This is where the line is drawn between Sentinel and other companies like Bandai. Sentinels stuff is more like fine art for me. I could literally just stare at this all day. Bandai builds tanks in my opinion. Heavy metal machines that are faithful to original designs. Their stuff feels great in hand. Sentinel may be a bit lighter and delicate but they seem to take the original designs and take them to a whole new level. Love this look and I would buy an unpainted version in a heartbeat.
