Hmm... that red fabric between the joints. Going to be hell to fix if something ever went wrong.

That red fabric will be a dust and lint magnet - looks like a felt type fabric with a grain like velour has. This will need to be in a case, but it's probably better than rubber there.
I honestly hope that visor sides upward to reveal a face. I was never happy with the faceless cyclone figures, but did buy the original gakken/matchbox style Scott Bernard.

Isn't this the same with the 1/10 Beagle Cyclone toys that came out a few years ago, they also used fabric on those right?

Nope this is smaller I think and the sculpt is different. They did use fabric on the Beagle/Toynami, but a different kind.

This might be the one I finally buy. I always liked the designs, but I never saw a toy that I was totally sold on. I love their past products, so I have hope for this one.

That's okay. I hope the mods can merge the two threads. Chen? Gold? Anyone?

Look like a more updated version of the classic Cyclone, I do hope it sells so we can finally get a full set from the classic Mospeada series that didn't suck (looking at old CM versions).

In 2008 Aramaki Shinji created new illustrations to "re-imagine" the Mospeada. Attachment Deleted

Thanks for the moving the thread to the right forum! I have quite a high interest in these promos. The CM and Megahouse that came out several years ago were too small to be solid products, and just can't accommodate the engineering required to do perfect transformation without being flimsy and fragile (as I understand, the Megahouse ones weren't even perfect transformation). The 1/10 beagle came out at time when I was financially challenged and had to be very selective with the high end toys I buy. The 1/12 Riobot comes at a perfect time, and knowing their history, they tend to produce an entire line even though sales are limited. I have high hopes they will produce my favorite bike, Yellow Belmont's Brough Superior.

I've always wanted a transformable cyclone toy but the reviews were never that great on the previous attempts. Crossing my fingers that this doesn't suck.

Look forward to this. Nice that its based on the updated design. Though the combined form looked a little bit big headed/top heavy (skinny legs) on the 3D diagram. Hope it looks better as they refine it further. Also, why they almost always make the cyclone figures so small? 1/12 is pretty small, like S.H.Figuarts or smaller. Those thin bike parts and hinges might break easy...

Those thin bike parts and hinges might break easy... 1/12 is exactly SH Figuarts. Also Hasbro's Star Wars Black line and a ton of other action figures. Think of it this way, at 1/12 you can have him join a biker gang with assorted Kamen Riders, Hatsune Mike, and an Imperial Biker scout.
