Does anyone know info about how far did Popy go in almost making this? Was there a prototype like Goggle V? It makes sense they didn't as Google V and Dairugger came out the same year and they probably stopped after the prototype for Goggle V.
I wonder how many different colors of Polyethylene they would have used. Golion, probably the last Machinder made from that era has 6. Don't think there's another jumbo with more.
I think LJN should have just made their own Dairugger Commander so kids can have something got go toe to toe with the Voltron Commander.
Hope some company will come out with a Dairugger Jumbo one day. Made of Polyethylene with the wheels.

I would so take a Dairugger and Goggle V jumbo. I do not know how far they got, but if there are prototypes somewhere that would be awesome to see photos.

There is only one prototype of Goggle V, as far as we know, made of wood and it is painted in the correct colors. It has been in the Bandai Museum in Japan for many years. There is a picture or two of it on the internet.

Yeah the Goggle V has been there for awhile. It doesn't really have the same feel as the other jumbos since it's painted. Still probably the crown jewel in any Jumbo Collection.
If one company would have made the Dairugger Jumbo, it would have been LJN as they made toys of both the vehicle and lion Voltron.
I'm one who always liked Dairugger's design over Golion's. Although Golion's episodes were better, Dairugger's design looks a lot more solid to me. Too bad most Voltron fans rejected him.
