My nephews love robots and I would like to get them into super robots (they love mine). So, for 4-7 year olds, what is a good buy for kids play in terms of Mazinger, Grendizer, and Getter? Also, any good mecha buys for kids to play with?

I'm not sure about Maz, Grendy and Getter for that age. There are probably some nice vinyls out there. The Revoltech's aren't that expensive either. They might hold up to some play. For awhile. Hey at least you can replace the joints. But if you are looking for something awesome and roboty for kids that age check this out. You will be the coolest Uncle ever. a.co/4jUqvTWFisher Price MMPR Megazord playset. They also have a Dragonzord now a.co/h0VZXqc

If you are an uncle with a fat wallet, get them a Jumbo Machinder of said characters. They are made for kids a few decades ago, don't see why they won't play well with little kids now The problem is, how much can you take it when you see them go rough on them LOL.

I've got a 6 and 3 year old and found this in my office after coming home from work one night. So, maybe not the Revoltechs.... (I know they snap back in, which is why I had a good laugh after finding it) Translation: "Sorry about this"

Revoltechs aren't good, not because of the durability. But mainly for sharp pointy stuff. Little kids sometimes don't know how to play nice or being careful, when they are too into the swooshes, pew-pew-pews, and the kabooms. Though they do serve good fodders if you moved onto nicer gokins and have these lying around, maybe for kids around 10+ year olds.

Have you considered getting them the model kits? They're cheap and building them themselves might make for a good learning experience.

Id recommend cheap model kit also. They will learn tobe gentle with toys from breaking those.
If not, get do get them SRC if you see them in clearence. They are actually pretty tough. Im sure your nephew dont give a hoot about paint scratches so it will be fine id think.
Vinyls aka PVC is toxic. Id keep them away from little kids.
