FansToys appear to have marked 2017 on their calendar as the year they plan to take over the scene. That’s not to say that companies like MakeToys, FansHobby and Mastermind Creations etc are not doing enough to compete for your money, but FT have pumped out quality new mould after quality new mould so far this year. We’ve had an amazing run of FT-16 Sovereign, FT-08 Grinder and now FT-10 Phoenix. Oh, have I given the game away a bit there with regards to what I think of Phoenix? Well, if you ever come across me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TFW2005, you’ll already know how highly I rate this Masterpiece-scale faction-and-IP-swapping behemoth. I just got it in the mail today and it is an awesome figure. Very well made. Had this for the longest time in my PO at BBTS but ultimately cancelled with all the Bandai releases this year. Hear great things about Phoenix though. I will likely not pass up FansToys' incoming Aerialbots crew...that will be quite the benchmark, IMO.  |

The Jetfire is a great piece. I haven't gotten that many 3rd party figures. Partly because I wasn't sure of the quality of them. And because I am horrible at putting the faction symbols on them! LOL
But if all of Fan Toys releases are this good I will have to get more of them. I want a MP style Trailbreaker and I have hopes the Fan Toys one will be good.

FansToys product are very good,
I have the Phoenix/skyFire and the Iron/Dinobots,
I'm waiting for the triple changer Berserk/BlitzWing,....but no updates....:-(

How are the Dinobots? I am looking to get some masterpiece dinobots. I got all : those are good, sticking to the MP line V2, not V3 (cartoon proportions and design chart). These are strong build and have good range of articulations except ankle tilt in dino mode which is few imo. This is a nice line up refeering to G1 toy and animation character. I woke up lately (money where are you) to bought those and missed the metallic release which suits better the toys. Got Phoenix too : he is very huge :/ I understand the scale match but it's a huge toy. Best representation for tyhis character. |

He was a little more than what I wanted to pay but it is ok since he seems hard to get in G1 colors on eBay. |
