The toys released by the new guys are pretty much the same, right? I'm not really missing anything? There IS one difference, I just remembered because I took out one of the Yamatos. The Arcadia releases come with optional GAP FILLERS that didn't appear until the final year or so of Yamato releases. 2 for the torso by the "ribs" area, and 1 for the gap behind the neck, which has an alternate part with the pilot seat.  Thanks. So, it's almost like an reissue with smallish changes...subtler stuff. Yeah, given their pricepoints and what I've already accumulated, I think I'll hold off. Thanks for the help!

The 30th Anniversary Yamato 1/60s came with the option parts (ejecting pilot seat, neck and side fillers.) The unbuild kits have them also. The difference is mainly the whites between Arcadia and Yamato. The Arcadias have a brighter white with a pinkish hue to them under certain lighting condition.
